If you have one at all, that is.

Mine is Kate, after Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha. She's patroness of the environment, and became converted as a teenager. ^^

Marget Mary after St. Margaret Mary Alacoque. smile I also chose her because my Godmother's name is Margaret, my maternal grandma's middle name was Margaret, AND her feast day is the same as my parents' anniversary date was (I say was since my daddy passed on). Now that I think about it, it's also the same day that the late Pope John Paul II was made pope. 3nodding

Mine is Blaise, after the Patron of Throat Illnesses. I also liked that he was a physician and a bishop.

Definitely a cool guy.

cool I used to have a lot of strep throat, colds, throat problems previously because of allergy problems, even when I had allergy shots and was on medication. After I took him as my confirmation name and was confirmed in the Church, all my throat problems decreased significantly.

Jesus answered, "I am the way, the truth and the life." (John 14:6)............

My Confirmation name is Joan of Arc. I chose her as my saint because she was strong-willed and unafraid to listen and do as God asked of her, even if it was looked down upon by the rest of society. She is the patron saint of people ridiculed for their piety, among other things. As a young Catholic in this day and age, it is extremely hard to live my faith when so many sinful things have become commonplace in society. I'm ridiculed for not finding a horrible joke funny, or not watching a popular movie where curse-words and sexual themes are at the forefront. Whenever I feel overwhelmed with the struggle between current social views and my faith, I remember Joan of Arc and how she continued to fight for her faith even when society turned against her. This always gives me the confidence to continue living my faith openly no matter what other people think or say. Her feast day is also in May, which is the same month as my birthday.

May God bless you in all the good that you think, say and do.
