No I specifically said Harper majority, not conservative majority. Even though i'm a liberal voter, I don't mind conservative values as well. But this.....in my opinion, this is bad. I'm not looking forward to this Harper majority at all.
What are your thoughts and opinions?

I plan to leave. I grew up with a Conservative ruining my province. I don't want to know what will happen when they're in charge of the whole country.

Personnaly, I don't think it's going to be good. Canada is already loosing is place in the world.... We were the most pacific country, the most peaceful... And Harper is slowly destroying that reputation.. I really don't like that..

I know this is an old topic, but I think it is still relevant.
I have never been a fan of Harper, and lately he has gotten even worse. He seems to have always had it out for Newfoundland, even now that Danny Williams stepped down as Premier (you may or may not be aware of the dogfights they were having neutral ). I mean, he took Search and Rescue out of Newfoundland. We are an island province with a large portion of our population working offshore either fishing or on the oil rigs. It makes no sense to relay Search and Rescue through Nova Scotia, there is no way an emergency response can possibly be fast enough when it has to come from a different province.
It was truly a sad moment when Jack Layton passed away last year, because I think he really had a chance to become Prime Minister. I would have liked to see what an NDP government could have done for this country.

Yeah, I don't like him either... confused Mainly because he seems to be trying to change Canada into a mini USA. And while I have no problems with them, every country's different in its own way and I feel like we're losing what Canada had as special. sad
