Kiri'Chei ran as quick as her cloven feet would carry her. She was late, very late and as the clock ticked it slowly drove her insane. "I can't believe I overslept!" she cried out as she took a turn, making her way towards the bakery. She had a huge order due tomorrow and her goal was to sit there and bake all day. This however, was not going to happen. Her time was cut drastically and she began freaking out as she ran, trying to think of how she was going to fulfill the order.
Bursting the door open, she popped in past the customers, flinging herself into the back room. Grabbing the nearest free space and throwing on the closest apron. Scurrying quickly for the ingredients she needed.

Ciar liked being in the bakery around this time of day. Everyone was busy doing things, talking, laughing. It interested him. Despite his dislike of being around others, he enjoyed this.
Suddenly the door burst open and a harried Heila ran in, past the customers to find herself a place to work in the kitchen. Now he was intrigued. She'd had a horn...and were those scales, or some kind of armor? He'd never seen that before... He moved a little closer to the kitchen so he could watch her work, wondering if he could figure out what she was making by the ingredients she used.

Quickly, she opened the fridge pulling out butter, eggs, milk and a bag full of dark red cherries. Laying out the cherries, she poured them into a wire strainer and placed it in the sink, turning the cold water on and letting it run as she looked around for the flour, sugar and salt. “Hmm...where did they hide it...” she murmered to herself as she stood on tipped toes trying to reach the items on the top shelf. Pushing things aside and dropping them to the ground. She let out a defeated sigh. She wouldn't be able to make anything good rushing, but time was crunching. Finally reaching the hidden salt, she made her way back to the cherries. Turning the water off and giving them a good shake. As she pulled them out one by one she picked off the stem and taking a sharp knife, cut them delicately all around splitting them in two and popping the seed out. Closing her eyes, she began humming a small tune in excitement.
