Almas stretched out all over before heading outside for a breath of fresh air. He'd been working hard of late, both doing secretary work for Vampy which included a lot of baking and making tea, some meetings with some of the spawn, and preparing gifts for his upcoming grandchild. He was quite busy and he had decided that a break outside would be good for him, getting to see the open sky, and relax for a bit.
He had no idea that there might be visitors today, not having gotten a message about it, but in case anyone arrived he had his keys on him to let them in. He stretched out all over before lowering himself down to sit on the steps in front of the main entrance, eyes sinking closed, "Mmm, nice day." He murmured to himself in a sleepy manner, enjoying the warmth of the sun's rays falling down on him. It didn't take to long for him to end up in a half dozing state while facing the tall, wrought iron gate that separated the Labs from the outside world.

The night was young, the air was cool, and Ilyrosa was not going to pass up this chance. She and Nina had been sort of planning the escapade for a few weeks now, talking about various ideas and how things were going to happen and such. It had only been the night before that the idea and plan had finally been agreed on and the two started for the facility with one goal in mind. Adjusting the cheap backpack slung over her one shoulder, the teen grinned at her friend. "Heh, looks like someone's out. Now we don't have to jump the gate or something else just as stupid. Ready for this?" she asked, quickly checking the backpack contents one more time.
There, within the large dark backpack lay almost twenty cans of spray paint in every color of the rainbow and then some. Black, red, green, blue, yellow, gold, silver... She had them all and planned on using them till they were empty or they were chased out. Nina had wanted revenge while herself... The facility needed more than white as it's only wall color. How boring it had to be to stare at the walls and all that horrible blinding sameness. She'd go insane if she had to endure THAT, hence the slight spell a friend of hers had put on the spray paint to ensure it would stay up for a few days. Painting over it had been ill advised, as had using water to clean it off since both, as she had been told, would carry disastrous effects.
"Hey! Can we come in?" Ilyrosa called out to Almas upon reaching the gate, waving cheerfully to the man with one hand whilst the other zippered her bag up again. They couldn't be detected now, not when they were so close! It had taken AGES to plan this out and the teen wasn't about to let such plans go to waste.

So many things running rampant through her mind, it was an ordeal keeping the reigns on, to keep the threads of thought coherent. The kick of adrenaline wasn't a good samaritan in this respect, adding to the difficulty and to the excitement of the moment. This had been so long in the planning, and although she wouldn't admit it aloud, so many events had piled on the frustration she felt. It was only logical that the worst of it all would place more pressure on the genes made optimal by taking things into their own hands, by becoming karma itself, chaos itself.
If there was no other reason for it, Nina could always place the blame on venting. Perhaps even just to have fun with her closest friend. It wouldn't be incorrect, but by no means would it be the full truth, either. Her wings, nearly transparent with Nina's inability to fully control them, phased in and out of visibility -- a ripple of anticipation. She flashed a grin, "It couldn't come sooner. You know I'm ready for this!"
Pulling the scarf up over her nose, the action was merely a defensive maneuver. It was surely not going to preclude anyone from deducing who she was, but feeling secure in the matter was also important. No need for them both to ask for permission to enter, either, but Nina flashed an inviting smile regardless, visible through her eyes. Hard to muster, considering the connotations the place brought up in her memory.

Coming out of his half sleeping state the Fallen looked toward the gate to see the two standing there, his good eye looked between the pair before focusing on Nina knowing instantly whose blood it was that was running through her veins, "Wow." He murmured to himself before he pushed up on his feet and walked over toward the gate, "Yes, sure you can come in. Do you have an appointment today? Or just a visit?" He asked as he got out his keys, using them to unlock the tall gate to allow the pair of girls inside. Give their age it was likely a class that was bringing the two of them here he thought to himself.
After the pair were inside he locked the door behind them once more to keep some things in as well as keeping other things out, "The door that goes inside is unlocked so you can move along on your way to your class or meeting." He said in an ever friendly manner, always enjoying meeting with the spawn but the pair seemed somehow as though they were here for a reason, as such he didn't want to slow them down even though he wanted to talk with Nina just due to his own curiosity about her, "I will be out here a little longer so if you don't take to long I can let you back out, if not then ask any tech you might see and they can assist you in my place."

Ilyrosa walked through the gate, only just pondering if she could have ripped it off it's hinges without tripping any alarms. Knowing Vampy and the people of the facility, such a thing wasn't exactly likely whatsoever. But, she wouldn't have to worry about it unless they needed a quick getaway after being discovered. Whoo, the lab boys were gonna have a field day when they saw what her and Nina did to their precious white walls. Covering it up wouldn't work, and washing it off just stained things more. Nasty duo in her opinion.
"Uh... Little of everything I guess. Visiting someone in hopes of getting a class in," she replied smoothly, the lie falling gracefully from her lips. As a skilled liar, the thing was it was partially true except instead of meeting a person they were introducing spray paint to pure white walls. "Thanks! See you later!" Ilyrosa called out, waving to the Fallen as she headed for the facility steps. Once out of hearing range, the teen grinned at her friend. "Easy as cake. What color you want first when we get in?" she asked, already knowing exactly what she was going to paint on the walls.

As the gates were unlocked for the two girls, Nina gazed at the front of the building with a strange combination of emotions. She was no longer filled with dread when entering the facility grounds -- especially on an occasion such as this, where it was under her own volition; she wasn't scared that she would be calling this place her home again in the future, but the visage of the lab still succeeded in stirring up anxiety. With the feeling also paired with a driving anticipation, however, it almost threatened to show as a strange sort of eagerness. Could she really deny that it wasn't? It was perhaps the only time that she couldn't wait to get inside the barricade of a front door.
Once she realized who it was that held the door for them, though, a slight tinge of remorse started forming on the edges of her thoughts. Almas... the one who made her realize that it wasn't all bad to visit this place when required to. She bit her lip and buried her nose further in the scarf, inwardly trying to bury such thoughts in the fabric instead of hiding from them herself. It wasn't to get back at him for anything, it was to get back at everyone else. She just had to remind herself of that.
Sound tuned her ears in at Ilyrosa's reply, and Nina found herself biting her lip harder to keep herself from laughing. Maybe they could call this a class of sorts. Self-taught class and everything... "art" worked like that anyway, didn't it? The smile returning to her features, she nodded to the man at the gate and responded a likewise, "Thank you!"
It took conscious effort for Nina to keep herself from dashing inside. She hadn't truly been aware of how easy it would be to enter the grounds without prior appointment, always being solely on one side of the fence or the other in the past. Surely this act may change that, looking ahead, though. She sighed, pulling her nose back out of the scarf once she realized she needed more oxygen than she was getting. Her voice remained low, but the excitement was still there, "Ahh, hmm... I suppose I'll just start off with green and work from there. Have anything in mind that you're going to do?" Her expression was sly, attempting to discern what it may be that Rosa's creative mind was cooking up for the canvas of the wall. Her ears kept constant observation on their surroundings, making sure that nothing would have an easy time of sneaking up on the two as they plotted.
Resituating the scarf on her shoulders, there was a strange heaviness in the fabric to her back. Remembering what it was that she had stowed away in there, she pointedly mentioned, "Oh, that's right. I have a backup plan if we're caught. Should give us time to get away if we need to." Her grin was mischievous.

Ily was barely aware of the mixture of emotions emanating from her friend, refusing to make any note of it or even press the matter. She might be oblivious to most emotional things, but the basic emotion of fear was something she could pick up on easily enough no matter what form it was in. Then again, it was also misleading sometimes if it was anxiety, nerves, or a spike in fear like on the top of a roller coaster or looking over the edge of a cliff. Besides, why ask a question on something she wasn't entirely sure was what it was? Better let it go than to ask stupid questions and besides, she too felt a little nervous and excited upon entering the facility without so much as a pause.
Upon entering, her grin widened as Nina told her what color she wanted. "Green it is! What am I going to do? Honestly, I figured some rainbows and random neon suns would work. First things first, though. I'm putting random arrows and directions on some of those walls. Who knows how many damned times I've gotten lost walking down one," Ilyrosa replied, opening up her bag again. The white-labeled paint cans and their rainbow of caps seemed to glow with excitement themselves at the prospect of what they were going to be used for. Grabbing a green one, she handed the spray paint over to her friend before grabbing a bright red and neon yellow one. Might as well make make her "signs" visible, right?
"Come on, most of the classrooms and important areas are this way I think," the teen added, heading down a nearby hallway. Maybe when she felt more daring, she would add some obscene drawings just to add to the character of the place. Snickering softly to herself, she shook up the can of red paint and popped the cap off. Pausing to look around and make sure no one was nearby, she drew out an arrow pointing up. Thankfully she could reach the ceiling and could put on some phrase up there. "Tada! And no one's come running yet. Guess our plan really will work out without a hitch," Ily giggled, grinning mischievously. Oh she was going to have SO much fun today!
"Hm... I wonder how fast I can run and still get a solid line..."

"I always thought they could use some directions on the wall..." Nina nodded, imagining the arrows already displayed on the disappointingly blank walls, "Sometimes getting lost can be fun, but only when you have the time." She frowned, realizing she was being unusually talkative in a situation that was better suited to a more silent nature. Alas, she couldn't help it, likening it to a nervous fidget of sorts, so instead focused on keeping her voice down. The walls had a habit of echoing if one wasn't careful, after all.
Snatching the green spray can up, she snickered at the glowing effect the lids seemed to give off in the darkness. "Are they always so bright? Where did you find these?" she asked, having a hard time keeping her voice down with the catches in her voice her laughing was causing. Honestly, Nina had no idea what she wanted to spray on the walls, only that she wanted to cause as much destruction in this manner as time would allow.
Following Rosa down the hallway, Nina idly spun the can around, shaking the paint within as they went. "Trying to go for the areas with the most traffic, eh? They're going to have a hard time detouring everyone if they don't want the kids to see," she snorted, amused. The pressure was on to make something that would be quite the spectacle. Maybe something to scare the younger kids or something, but would that be possible with artistic skills that were sub-par at best? Maybe it was safer to stick with something more abstract for now, and whatever came to mind as she went.
Frowning, she turned to glance back down the halls they emerged from. "It's kind of strange that there isn't any sign of anyone. Maybe they've gotten lazy?" she mused; it was a weekend, after all. Oh well, she wasn't going to worry about it. The only thing that would lead to would be further tenseness, and she was here to have some fun! Pointed ears pulling back, she bit her tongue in concentration as she popped the cap off the spray can with a decided flick of her thumb. Her eyes were focused on the opposite wall from the one that Ilyrosa had her eyes on, a move made so that they didn't accidentally obstruct one another's "works of art." Smirking, she responded, "Now's as good a time as any to give it a try. Not sure when you'll be able to find such a nice, clean wall to test it out again!" As if on her own cue, she slid her scarf back over her nose and began plastering the walls in green, unsure of where her hands were going to take it.

Ilyrosa stared at her art for a moment, still pondering over all the things she was going to decorate the walls with. She wasn't fantastic at graffiti or whatnot, choosing more splatter paint-like art most often seen at raves or certain band acts. "Heh, where I got them is of no consequence and personally, I'd rather it stay secret. Let's just say I didn't get them from just any old store," she replied, a devilish smirk taking over her face. Oh the fun those techs would have later. It was a shame she would have to wait till they were out of earshot of anyone that worked for the facility to explain the paints origins.
Oh well. "Be right back!" Ily muttered to her friend, putting her hand close to the wall so the red paint would have the best chance at sticking. As quietly as she could, thankful she was wearing soft shoes and not boots, she pressed the nozzle down and took off down the hallway. A ribbon of red chased after her as she went. Upon returning, she waved her arm up and down, causing the red ribbon to wave back in return. In the end, it was a pretty cool result. "Wow. That's awesome. Think I should add other colors or have fun with something else?" she asked, not at all winded by the short trip down the hallway and back.
Rummaging through the bag again just to check the colors she had, the teen couldn't also help ponder why there was a sudden lack of techs wandering around. Weekend or not, there had to be far more wandering around than this... "Wonder where everyone is. Not that I'm complaining, I'm just a little worried," Ily commented quietly as she shook up the neon yellow she had out from earlier. Maybe a rainbow down the hallway of varying colors and wave patters would be blinding enough for them. Plus, if someone was coming down the hallway at the end she could warn Nina and they could scram before getting caught.

Nina snickered in response to Ilyrosa's reply, an eyebrow raised in curiosity, "Oh really? Well, suppose I can deal with the mystery. It can make it a bit more fun that way, after all." So it wasn't from any regular store, and wasn't your average can of paint -- a great basis to flex those muscles of imagination with! Besides, the colors seemed to be far more vivid than the average can of spray paint, so she wasn't about to complain about it. It made the scribble she was concocting on the wall look more like a glowing splatter from some unidentified liquid, turning it into something more eerie than she was expecting. This only resulted in her giggling delightedly as she moved on, adding to the mess on the wall.
Nina turned from where she was working to watch Rosa dash off, the red line appearing on the wall like flaming tire treads from a car moving much too quick. She was surprised at how fast Ilyrosa was able to move now, only ever seeing the ability in an enclosed space when they were younger. Straight-shots made it so much easier, and she could only blink, dumbfounded for a moment, when her friend had returned. At the question, she leaned over to see how far the paint had reached down the hall before concluding, "...Effective!" She thought a moment, glancing down the other hallway to see how much clean wall was available to Ilyrosa without her having to turn the corner, and decided that she could cover that wall completely in two seconds flat... and that they'd then have to come up with another place to start 'redecorating.' "Hmm... looks good how it is -- kinda flamey -- though I'm sure it wouldn't look too bad with other colors, too. If you're not careful, your going to run out of space!" she pointed out, amused. Rainbow flames, huh? It didn't cross her mind immediately that they could just as easily run out of paint as well.
She thought about where all the techs may have disappeared to at such a time. Seemed they were ready for anyone to just drop in, what with Almas at the gate and all. He had also asked about the classes, so there were sure to be some teachers around here somewhere to boot. She cringed inwardly, hoping they were being quiet enough for any of the teachers to not notice their presence in the hall. What annoyed her the most was that she really didn't have much greater insight into what may have happened than any other child from this place. She may have returned to live here briefly until childhood, but most of that time was spent restrained. Nina had to grimace at that thought; most people may think she had more control over her demonic genes at this point because she could hide it easier, but they seemed to be just as strong as before. At least she wasn't apt to bite people anymore...
Switching out her green can for a black one, she offered, "Maybe it's game night or something." No, she didn't really believe that, but who really knew? The point was that they weren't getting caught, and they were causing as much destruction as possible; no reason to worry too much. It's probably just dinnertime or something anyway, she mused to herself as she painted men's and women's bathroom symbols on some of the nearest doors.

There was a strange sound, much like some sort of hissing going on outside... on top of that there was an odd smell that went along with the smell and voice she'd never heard before. People were out there playing weren't they? Why did everyone else get to get out and play and leave and she was always stuck right here? Even Drake got to go and he had been right across the hall from her! Surely they would have thought she wanted to go too! Perhaps this was her chance? She would get these people with their strange hissing and weird smell to help her get out to play too?
Her long tail lashed behind her as she walked over to the door, banging her hands against it, "Hello? Hello! Can you please let me out? I'm lonely and I want to play too!" She called through the door, teeth gritting a little when she didn't get an answer straight away, "Hello? Is anyone there? Please I've been in here forever, when can I get out too? Why does everyone get to go but I can't!?" She hated it when others got what she wanted, which was everything! They always got all the nice things, always had all the fun, always got to leave their cells and her, poor little Charna, was always forgotten and unloved! It just wasn't fair...
"Please? Please let me out!" She called again, scratching at the door like a small animal though she knew that the only thing that would get her out of her dark cell were the keys that the techs carried... perhaps those outside wouldn't mind fetching one to help her?

"Run out of space, eh? That's the point, isn't it? To cover all these ugly white walls with something a little more colorful and a little less... Blah. If we run out of space, that means we did our job perfectly," Ilyrosa laughed, grabbing the orange can and shaking it for a moment, pondering what other things she could add to the red-striped wall. A single stripe wasn't much better than plain white anyways. "Rainbows and flames... I like this idea. Too bad I can't run sideways very well, then I could do two colors at once. Oh well."
Shaking the can once again, Ily held the can up so it would cover the wall the line right above the red one and took off down the hallway. She would have came back just as fast, if not for the voice that happened to catch her attention. Abandoning her artwork for now, the teen wandered over to the door that was suddenly emanating scratching sounds now. "Hello? Did someone say something?" It took her several long moments to notice that there were objects farther in the darkened room and that it could possibly belong to one of the demons that lived here.
Or a kid that happened to piss a tech off before being shipped off to someone's house. There were far too many toys for that to be right... So what could it be for? "Hey Nina! C'mere! I got another idea!" Ily called out down the hallway, making sure to keep her voice as quiet as possible yet still carry to her friend. Oh boy, Vampy and the techs would throw an absolute FIT if they let a couple of things out of their cages. Didn't the pride one get to wander around since he didn't exactly do a whole lot in the way of destruction? Maybe this one was like that, since the door didn't exactly seem all that strong. A good kick could probably break it down or dent it pretty badly.
