The villiage of Sief lays south of the southern forests and is home to the most Diverse religions. Its many temples provide place for worship of almost any religion imaginable. There are also many "clans" that get together, some based on race, others on beliefs or alignment...

As she walked into the town, she ignored the stares of priests, priestess', and working clansmen. Seeing an inn, she went in to get a room. Walking up to the counter, she asked for a small room.
"Your lucky, young one. This is our last single room before the next clan comes in..." said the Inn Keeper.
"Thank you very much." She replied. She turned and left upstairs to put her small pack of belongings down, then explore the temples and shrines. 'That is, if I'm not blown back by a barrier because I have dark bloodlines...' She thought to herself, placing her things on the small futon and walking back out.

Slowly making her way through the town, she came upon an especially large shinto temple. "Wow, their still alive? Guess so, they are holy..." She murmered to herself as she began the long trek up their hundreds of stairs.
"Nimo sanzen baka suteppusu..." She muttered to herself in another tounge.

After walking up nearly 50 steps, she crouched low and jumped, landing gracefully on the top step. She saw an old lady smiling at her, a broom in hand and a pile of dry leave near the door to the shrine.
"I have been expecting you, young one." She said, her voice kind with wisdom underlying it.
"Expecting me, eh?" She asked, bewildered.

The elderly woman smiled and took her hand, leading her into the small shrine-house and sitting her before a table. "Young one, you are here for reason. I understand you've lost your memory, correct?"
Doraya looked at her oddly. "Yes...Do I know you?" 'Okay...and old woman knows I lost my memory...And I don't know her?' She thought bewildered.
"Aye, child. You were called here for certain purposes. Such as fixing you sword." She said, her hand indicating the sword hidden underneath her cloak. "There are many things I know about you. Your parents wanted me to make sure you grew up okay."
"My parents...?"

Suddenly a thump was heard as she woke up, sweating. 'That was all a dream...?' Shaking her head, she stood up from the futon and walked over to her bag, pouring a bit of water on a rag and wiping her face.
"Ugh...I hate dreams like that..." She muttered to herself, sighing. "It always ends before I find out anything..."

Walkling from the inn, she looked at the sky. "Bored, weird magical people surrounding me, and lotsa staring..." Sighing, she continued walking to the edge of the forest, settling to sleep in a tree branch.

Sighing, she yawned and leaned her head back, looking to the stars. 'I wonder how everyone is doing...? I've become that close to them in just a day and a half...This is new to me...' Standing on the branch, she softly jumped to the ground and walked to a clearing near enough to still see the village, but also be out of sight.
"It even has these beautiful red flowers...I wonder what they are? I've never seen these before." She said to herself as she touched one, only to wince slightly as she pricked her finger. "Oww..." Sucking on it lightly, she used her gloved hand to lift the flower from the ground and inspect it. "Beautiful but deadly...Like many other things..."

With the flower still in hand, she walked back into the village and looked around for a place to eat.

Sitting in a cafe, she calmly sipped on steaming green tea. 'Bored...I might end up starting a fight if I don't get anything new soon...Not even a clue as to why I felt like going this way...Besides that stupid dream...' Finishing her tea, she left a few gold coins on the table as she walked out, looking for a blacksmith.
Hours later, she found one and left her sword there to be fixed. "I'll be back in three days..." She'd told the blacksmith, walking out.

Sitting in a clearing, she watched village children play around with each other, getting dirty even though their parents said not to. 'Ah, to be young and free....I sound like somebody's grandparent.' She thought sarcastically.
Recently, nothing had interested her more than these children, just because it was so boring. One of the children looked at her and waved, causing the others to follow. But then one of them started tag again, and they were off.

Looking at the now setting sun, she twitched a bit. "Hungry..." She ran her tounge over her fangs and winced as she cut herself. 'I truly need to stop that...' Hanging upside down from a tree branch was starting to bore her.

An hour later, she sat by a campfire at the edge of the village with several of the poorer children, eating cooked rabbit. 'I'm really going to have to stop hanging around others...I'm just going to be attacked sooner or later...' She thought to herself as she finished off her piece, watching as some of the children saved some for their parents.

Standing by the opening to the blacksmith's shop, she was surprised to see that her sword had already been fixed. "Ah, done already I see..." She said in a bare whisper, handing the man a small bag of coins. Picking up her sword, she strapped it to herself once again as she walked off to the inn to get her things.
"I'm going to be broke by the end of this..." Paying the inn keeper, she got her things and started out of the village. 'I wonder where I'm going now...Maybe the Oasis? I think I would like to swim there.' Pondering over every thought that flitted through her head, she made her way back into the southern part of the forest.

Xelion awoke in his room as he grabbed his backpack and ran out the door. He ran to the blacksmiths first and picked up his swords off the table. He then straped them properly and ran out. He ran to the store filling his bag with food and water enough for three days. "Let the gods give me haste." He said on the outside of town. "I must find out of my past." He said as he turned and headed for the southern forest.
