This is a place where you can practice various fighting, either PvP, Combat using a couple of your own characters, PvNPC, or anything else that you would care to do. If doing PVP combat, please put the name of all combatants taking part in the fight at the top of each of your posts.
In a battle sequence that you control completely, please be sure to end it in one post, and please don't do a one liner. This is to practice large combat sequences for entertaining fights. If I find a practice fight in here that is along the lines of "He dropped in, summoned a bunch of bad guys and then used his magic to kill them all like a badass!" I am going to delete it and then smack you with a dead frog. This is to for you to try to create long, imaginative post combat, not "see how lazy I can be" combat.

Assira

Vs.
Ubo

Chill winds blew across the waters. An ice flow drifted past. The north could be an inhospitable place to those unprepared for it. The cold spared none in these parts. Assira stood, seemingly unaffected by the cold facing her opponent. She had her arms and legs covered by a thin, silky blue material, her hands remained uncovered, though she wore thin leather boots that had been colored blue. Her dark eyes were unmoving as she watched Ubo. Her staff was placed on the ground. It was made of silver, and straight as a line. It was topped by an aqua marine sapphire that glowed with the power it contained within it. He raven hair whipped in the winds blowing past. She was ready for him.

Ubo was dressed for the weather, thick coat, high boots, thick pants, a thick mask, and goggles. He looked quite ridiculous, but the clothing gave him movement and kept him warm. It all had a slim covering of fat, making it waterproof and better insulated. From his in-depth knowledge of magic and how little she was affected by the cold, he figured she used ice and water. That meant he had a choice to make. Water was a hard element to beat. Unless she covered herself in it electricity would have no effect. Water's high capacity meant that fire would be useless. Her staff would likely empower her water spells so he would lose a water vs. water fight. There was little earth to be used. Wind could win, but it would be a close fight. Gravity could win this for him, but it had too many drawbacks- and he didn't want to risk sending himself into the ocean. The Vir might be a good idea, it would leave him to be quite mobile with his spells- but it would shorten his life span. Chromaturgy. That was likely his best bet. With the staff of law he could go for hours before he became light sick.

That was his choice, Chromaturgy. His eye lids shut for a second, and when they opened there was a change. His naturally blue eyes had shifted to a dizzying display. There was no solid color, instead they were like prisms, reflecting every color. This would allow him to manipulate the color's that he saw and turn them into a physical form. His range was from Super violet down to sub-red. The problem with this magic was that it was far more physical then any other magic that he knew.

"Young lady, perhaps you should make the first move." He shouted over the crashing of waves. Were he not wearing so much clothing, it would be obvious his entire body was turning a deep shade of blue- he was preparing to draft blue luxin.

Assira was barely able to catch his words on the wind. The wizard looked ridiculous in his attire, but she had seen even more ridiculous things in her time. But his words lead her to believe that he underestimated her. She didn't see any reason to prove him wrong just yet, even if his eyes were now a dizzying display of a kaleidoscope. She raised her staff and swept it across while saying a single word in a language that had been dead for centuries. The ice around him in a ten foot diameter turned to slush that was easily fell through. She then slammed her staff into the ice at her side then raising it up with another word. The ice around the both of them started to crack and launch itself into the air, creating a snow. She couldn't make a heavy snowfall without the help of someone that controlled air as well as she controlled water, but a light snow that fell constantly would do nicely. She said another word, swinging her staff over her head and pointing it at Ubo. The snow flew together, creating many small icicles that flew towards the enemy wizard.

Ubo yelped as the snow beneath him turned to slush. He began to drop but was caught by a thick platform of ocean blue material. The platform had four legs that descended into the ocean. "wow, that was a lil scar-" he cut off as he recognized what she was doing with the snow. His head turned slightly more toward the distant sun. A large dome of thin light blue erupted around him, just behind the blue was a foot thick insulation of orange and yellow goo, and behind that foot was another thick layer of blue. When the ice struck the blue most would just fall away, a few would crack it, and at the end a few would break through. Upon breaking through oxygen would hit the yellow orange and red mixture causing it to explode. The red would bring fire, the yellow and orange would cause a bright flare that would blind anyone that was looking. Ubo wouldn't be as effected due to the thick dark layer of blue between him and the explosion.

Assira vs. Ubo

The barrier wasn't unexpected. The substance that it was made out of was. She had never seen anything like that before. But it didn't seem to be able to hold up against her barrage and it was cracking. When it shattered, she saw a moment before the it happened, the explosion that was coming. She raised her staff, speaking in the other language, trying to raise a barrier to protect her, but she didn't do the spell quickly enough. She succeeded in raising a barrier, but not before the light half blinded her. It wouldn't be permanent. She was used to snow blindness, but her vision was blurred and filled with a painful light. The ice barrier that she had raised was now melting quickly. It would stop melting after a bit, when the light from the explosion subsided, but the ice was thin and hastily provided. She didn't require sight to perform her spellcasting, but she did need it to aim properly. She spun the staff in her hand, spinning quickly around twice, speaking rapidly in the ancient language before lunging her staff at the thin ice wall. It shot forward at speed, pushing snow and ice along as it went. Assira didn't provide another attack, but she raised her staff for a moment before plunging it into the ice at an arms length. She started speaking another spell, drawing the staff around her, creating a circle. The staff moved through the ice like a heated knife through cream. When the circle connected, she dropped down into a cross legged sitting position. A thick ice barrier rose up from where the staff had drawn the circle. It allowed little light through. She had to try to let her eyes heal themselves before she could continue the fight.

Ubo let the blue shell dissolve the instant the explosion went off and he started running, as he ran a blue luxin bridge formed under him. He drew his blade. He turned and fired three dozen blue luxin knives at the girl who was slamming her staff into the ground. The force of firing that manny knives as fast as he did launched him off his feet. He landed rolling backwards on a still forming platform of blue luxin. Once he was to his feet there was a dome around the girl. He held up his hands and ran toward her along the already formed luxin platform, his head slightly tilted so the sun was visible. From his hands launched a bright red goo that coated her ice. Any light that would have been let in was now extinguished. Once the dome was significantly covered, about four seconds of spraying he formed a heat-crystal in his hand, drafting sub-red from his own body heat. He chucked the crystal at the dome and on impact the entire thing went up in flames. Red luxin burned far hotter then wood or oil, it was one of the hottest burning substances Ubo had ever encountered. It would take very little time to burn through a few feet of thick ice.

Assira vs. Ubo

She was startled by the impacts of the spikes that were slamming into her dome, even though she had expected them. A few successfully cracked the dome, hitting it just right and slid into the ice, stopping just before hitting her with serious damage, or would have missed her had the dome not been there anyway. Two of them penetrated enough to break her skin, slicing through her thin clothes. Blood seeped through the cuts slowly, the cold temperature already causing them to close up and coagulate. Then the rest of the light went out. Assira thought that she had gone blind for a moment, but she still worked her magic. She reclosed the cracks and openings that the daggers had created, and started another spell to try and increase the density and thickness of the ice around her. That's when hell came to see her. She slammed her eyes closed as she discovered the reason the lights had gone out was because of a napalm substance covering the dome. She screamed a word in her ancient language. Outside of the dome, snow rose up all around and slammed into the fire engulfed dome soon after it had lit on fire. In the midst of the snow falling onto the dome, she said another word, causing the ice around the dome to crack all the way through and dragged her little dome into the icy depths, where she sealed up the last few cracks in the dome before leaving it to float back up to the surface. Without her. She opened a hole in the bottom of the solid dome, escaping out of it before any water could occupy it. She had little trouble breathing in the water, though down here, she would start to feel the effects of the temperature as it applied to other creatures.

Jager

Vs.
Vasago

The city was nearly empty at this time. The main avenue was actually quite uncharacteristic in it's solitude and silence. Tall buildings rose on both sides of the way. A few unoccupied vehicles stayed where they were. Silent, desolate. The night was chilled, though it still refrained from being cold. A tension hung in the air. It might have been the reason so few were actually hanging around the area. Out of fear for their lives. The area was lit with cold lights from street lamps and the great neon signs that hung overhead. The manhole in the very center of the street was lying open, the sewer workers had left for the night, expecting to finish their work in the morning. Jaghund was standing on the far side of the street, already in his hybrid half form. His hackles were raised, and hate irradiated from his eyes as he glared with no compassion at his opponent. He growled a deep, throaty, almost physical in its sound, but it was a challenge. He would show this vampire no mercy.

Vasago was smoking a cigarette and looking at Jaghund with glistening blood red eyes. He breathed out a layer of smoke then tossed the cigarette to the ground and said. "Well look it looks like the dog wants to play." He said the last word vehemently. He was going to rip this abomination to pieces. He had recently fed so luckily he was at his full strength.

Ubo watched the display with a frown. The girl was either in the water or in the dome. He let his eyes become unfocused and looked for Sub-red.Everything looked normal except for where a few globs of red still burned on a icey surface, his body, and a small glimmer in the water. So she had take to the water? Even she couldn't last forever down there... Ubo let his vision return to normal and focused on the deep blue of the water. He drafted off of that to create an enormous blue shell over the water. It was thick, dense, and covered everything Ubo could see. His head began to throb immediately, even with the Staff of Law drafting that much made him quite light sick. But he unfocused his eyes once more and watched for her, he could see heat rising from her body slowly decrease. He followed where she ran, only drafting when necessary. It would be some time before he could draft anything that massive, in the meantime he had to let his mind return to normal. If she attempted to surface he would thicken that area, luckily out here there was more then enough blue to draft from.

Assira vs. Ubo

So he hadn't fallen for the diversion of the dome. No matter. She would still be good in the water for a while now. However, it seemed that he had tried to cut off her escape route in an attempt to... what? Drown her? Not likely, as he would probably now realize her to be an exceptional water mage and likely able to breath below the surface. She didn't know what else he might think of her though. She could live down here for a while, but she would have to come up eventually. She needed him to lose his concentration. She knew that it was still snowing above the ice. She tried to focus on the water and ice that was located in the falling flakes. It took a bit of her energy to work magic at that distance, but she wasn't sight oriented as much as feel oriented. The flakes of snow started forming into miniature icicles falling from the sky. As time went on, they would get bigger. It was all she could do to continue to work this magic, she could only hope that she could outlast him and break his hold on the solid material that held her down below or that the force of gravity was enough to shatter the material that held her below the ice like it did.

Jager vs. Vasago

Jager neither heard, nor would he have understood if he had, what the vampire said. He wasn't listening to any blood sucker. He launched himself forward, running on all fours, at the vampire, the concrete beneath his feet breaking up and cracking at the ferocity that he felt at the vampire and the force that he had launched himself with. He would tear that vampire's throat out through its a** and feast upon its entrails while it yet lived. He lunged for the vampire's throat with his claws, wasting no time in trying to end the fight quickly. He tore a kick in as well, in case the vampire moved.

Ubo cursed as an icicle tore a gash in his headgear and made a nice cut on his forehead. The tinkle of ice hitting the diamond hard blue luxin was starting to drive him mad. It was simply annoying. What was really draining him was having to hold the blue luxin, that was difficult. Naturally the Luxin wanted to dissipate back into light, and the more light that was on it the faster it would dissipate. No problem, there was a solution. The Luxin he had made would last about a half hour without him supplying it with energy, it would slowly dissipate into blur grit. To fix that he would have to give it a coating of yellow luxin. Yellow luxin was either liquid or the hardest of the luxin's. It dissipated fastest, created bright light, but could also be used to refresh other luxin. When created properly it was the most durable. Ubo sprayed a very thin coating of Yellow Luxin onto the blue, this only worsened his headache to a migraine. Very well, he would have to switch to another magic soon if he kept this up. He was no prism, so he felt both the light-sickness and the physical exhaustion.

The blue luxin that was layed down was thick enough to hold up against most attacks, it was anchored to the ice around it and to any ground within sight. Ubo had created it as the hardest form he could, rather then the most stable. He had expected the women to have the force of glaciers behind her and so he made it hard enough to withhold that. On the other hand Ubo was being forced to avoid the icicles growing larger and larger.

Vasago laughed lightly and made a gesture for him to come forward. When Jager did Vasago smirked and ducked under the strikes. Vasago caught Jagers leg and lifted him up and tried to slam him to the ground with all his force. He hated all of these abominations they needed to be extinguished from the world and tonight this one would be extinguished.
