After the last incident Zyane had been lucky enough that the angel summoned had been a useful one. Thus he wasn't scolded as so much told to fix the machine promptly. So after having Almas look over it and then tweaking the system himself. Now all that was left to do was to...try it again.

He stood back watching looking at it warily, after last time he just didn't have as much faith in the machine. Of course it had worked...it just...unpredictable.He double check the runes, triple checked the system and then flicked the switch. There was a hum a bright flash of light and then the machine was powering down. Wh...at?

It appeared as if nothing had happened, perhaps the trial had been a failure... if so it would mean going back to the drawing board yet again. Time to do a quite search to see if anything had been sucked up by the portal's power. Motioning to Almas Zyane headed out of his work room with the Fallen that was aiding him in this endeavor.

*****

When he opened his eyes he felt like he was going to be sick. A wrenching feeling had gone straight to his stomach and now..he was definitely somewhere different. It felt...wrong. Was that the right description? Wrong? Unsettling? Okay how about EVIL?

Shivering he clutched his arms and took a staggering step backwards until he felt a wall behind him. Where was he? His halo the giant hula hoop looking item seemed to sag with his fear and uncertainty, the green crystals sphere's all sliding to one side causing it to tip precariously to the floor.

Where was he? Looking around with forced open eyelids he felt like he was ..in a hall. It was dark...a bit damp and there was an overwhelming presence to the right of him. Looking over he suddenly shrank back in fear spotting a rather large looking monster hell beast swimming in water before him.

What the??? Was he at Sea World? But the hell addition? It literally looked like this was a viewing room. It took all his willpower to slink across the back wall and flee from the room. But the next area didn't offer any new help or reassurance. He felt dark and evil aura's everywhere!

A flickering of light had drawn the attention of the Glutton, causing him to swim over toward it as though expecting for another visitor to be waiting there to talk to him... and there was! A cute, pink haired thing, if he had to guess he would say it was... an angel? He swam closer, pressing himself to the glass, eyes wide. How long has it been since he'd seen an angel? He couldn't even recall, what felt like an eternity for sure, "Hello there, Angel... what bringsss you... here... Angel?" He called out through the glass, pouting as the creature fled from him before they could have a proper conversation. Well that wasn't terribly much fun.

The massive demon gave a shrug of his shoulders, pushed off the glass, and returned to swimming about in his massive tank rather enjoying the water today. A shame that one didn't stay around to talk but he was sure that he wouldn't have to wait forever to get another visitor since Beryl came by often enough.

Outside of the viewing room to Torekane's tank happened by another demon, this one being one of the two privileged enough to roam about how he pleased. He paused to stare at him for a moment before his lips twisted up into a smirk though it was hidden by his ever present mask. The demon's ballet heels clicked against the tiled floor as he approached the new comer, "Well, well... aren't you a cutie, what's a pure little bird like you doing in a place this?" He asked, reaching out grab hold of his chin, lifting his head up so he could look him over, grinning all the while. He knew his other when he saw it... and the idea of running across one in this place, far from the angel wing of the place, was most amusing...

The man looked very young, the only way to describe him was...pure. Unsoiled. His pink hair cropped around his head with flowers curving delicately over, one red winged ear as well his red wings drooping along his back. He was forced to look up, panic stricken in his green eyes.

It was a demon, a demon was touching him and it made him shudder, not because it was a demon..no more that he could sense what type he was.

"N..no..let go of me!" He begged or rather shrieked as he threw his hands up to try and dislodge the man. If he could think properly and not in his panic stricken moment he could form a shield with the spheres along the giant halo around him. But he couldn't think and in that state the spheres only lay like useless trinkets along the golden rod.

He tried to back away but there was a wall...so to the side was the next measure.

Seriki seemed to be rather amused as the pink haired boy shrieked at him in such a girly manner, really birds could be so loud... he took a step forward, "Why would I want to let you go? I mean you don't look anyone that works here, your not one of the angels that stays in this place, your not protected by the bargain I made, your up for grabs." He was eager to pounce, he'd been so bored since coming to this place under that damn deal that say he wouldn't mess with the staff here... there were plenty of them that he wanted to do just that too...

Now though he'd found some girly boy, pink haired, lost angel and he wasn't about to lose him when he had a chance to get his hands on a an angel and he would be so happy to shatter his innocence... though it would seem as though he were eager to escape. Not something that Seriki liked the idea of, "Where are you going? If you head in that direction you will run into a demon far worse then I am." He said, having barely escaped from Enki with his sanity in tact. If this one went in that direction he wasn't going to follow, not wanting to get entangled in another conversation with that one, ever.

"Come on now, don't run away." He said, tail swishing before it lifted up, the ends spreading up and prepared to strike out. He didn't want to hurt the angel, just capture him.

Far worse? That had the boy coming to a stand still, despite his lanky height he did look fairly young, angels didn't really age like humans did so he looked about eighteen.

"Wo..worse?" He managed to get out in a strangled tone. What could be worse? Well besides being cornered by a blue skinned demon...

"I..k..know wh..what you are...y..your a...are worse...for me..." He stuttered mostly out of fear. Come on..come on! If he could just get his focus he could protect himself.

"L..let me go...i..if there are other angels h..here they will p..protect me." came the proclamation.

"Yes, far worse!" He said, taking another step toward him, his heels clicking, sounding loud in the hallway as he moved along. He lifted his hands up to bring them against the wall on either side of the angel's head with a dull 'thud' meant to startle him and catch him.

"Protect you? Doubtful, they seem to be spread out, one doesn't like other angels, one is chained up, why would they waste their time saving an outsider like yourself." That may or may not be true, they might want to aid this angel, to keep him becoming a part of his place but it wasn't as though he were going to tell the truth about that... where was the fun in that? What he wanted more then anything was to take what he wanted and what he wanted was this cute little angel, "Come on now, how about you just give up your protests now? It will make things easier for us both." He needed only to continue to frighten and intimidate and maybe he would be able to capture him... Surely the boss of this place couldn't be mad about his taking something that didn't yet belong here, right? He had to move fast to make sure that it was so.

"Now, my pretty, pink haired little friend... do you have a name? Or should I just call you Cherry? You have pink hair like the blossoms on those trees." He said, not to mention that his darling J'her used to use that nickname when talking to people like this guy... it was fitting twice over for him.

'Cherry' looked like a cornered mouse, with a giant perverted cat out to get him, with more than just 'eating' him on his mind. Wings quivering he slowly raised a hand to his mouth as if hoping he could smother the fear in his voice.

"I ..k..know what you ..w..ant..and I..w..won't let you. You know what I am..surely you do..I..ca..can see what you are..." He stated looking more and more desperate as he was running out of space and time.

"D..don't m..make me ...fight..please..." He murmured as he detested fighting more so since his powers were rather unpredictable. "L..let me go...I don't want to be here...or .n..near...you...w..why are you .hh..here anyway? Are y..you holding the ...o..other angels h..ostage?"

Seriki couldn't help but to laugh, "Oh yes, I can see what you are... I could sense someone like you a mile away, that purity that comes off you in waves, its both beautiful and disgusting at the same time." He said, finding it more then amusing the way that he was shuddering but still trying to get him to release him, as though he thought this one could even follow up a smidgen of fighting skill.

"Fight me? I doubt that you will even raise a hand against me, your far to weak to do that." He told him, "Naw, a little weakling like you will more likely cry to try to get yourself out of this situation."

A the question he couldn't help but to give a bit of a laugh, "Me? Naw, there is someone far more dangerous that is in charge of this place holding demons and angels alike in the palm of his hand... not that I care to terribly much for them, I am free to roam as I like after all unlike most of the demons in this place." Sure he couldn't have all the fun he wanted but he still found a bit here and there, so long as he was careful he was fine, didn't seem as though the one in charge could be bothered if those who were important to his work here were left intact. He had to be a careful hunter was all, like in this instance, "So then, Cherry, how did you end up in this place? You don't seem as though you were captured or like you made a deal to be here..." Strange that an angel would just pop up here then start to cry about he wanted to be left go...

The pink haired boy only panicked trying to slip under Seriki's arm and run but he tripped over his own wings and stumbled and fell onto his knees. It was hard the ground hurt and he whimpered in pain. He definitely was young in mind and spirit it seemed. Someone...more dangerous? His body quivered. It must be a demon keeping everyone captive! He..he..must be in hell somehow!

"I don't know!" I cried out covering his head with his arms as if THAT would be enough protection. "One moment I was doing my duties and the next I was here...or rather...there...where the tank monster is.." He pointed with one free hand. Cherry looked up with one green eye before staring back to the ground.

His halo on the other hand hovered just about mid section of him, righting themselves the spheres began to slide along the rim to spread themselves out. It seemed rather bizarre behavior for spheres.

"You expect me to believe that you just..." He trailed off for a moment then started to laugh, "Oh, oh I see. So its finally working then is it?" He had seen it from time to time, watching those fools fiddling around with that device of theirs. It had nothing to do with him or with other demons so he really hadn't cared other then the fact that the cute blond was working there. The desire to get his hands on that one had him hovering from time to time but the work there... all the talk of magic and such it was just... boring.

To think though that they had thing working, that they could just drag angels out of the air and into this place where they could be harvested for the experiments that went on here. It was quite amazing, any demon would kill for that sort of power, to be able to catch a bird so easily. He wanted to check that portal out, maybe he could get a feel for how it worked for the day that he left this place behind.

As the metal ring around the angel shifted and lifted itself up, seeming to be of its own power since the angel had fall over like any woman starring in any horror movie... he gave the device a leery look before daring to reach a hand forward as though to test it out, "Your aware that the waterworks are going to save you, right? Not from me and certainly not from the others who work here."

Was he crying? He was so afraid it didn't come across that he was indeed blubbering like a baby. Looking up with tear streaked face he wondered on the demon's words. People who would fall for that? What his crying? His fear? That seemed a bit rude.

Sticking out a lower lip he sniffed and then went to try and stand up properly. Perhaps the fact his halo was on auto mode that it gave him courage. The sphere's ranged in size and they moved about as if they had a will of their own. There was a crackle of energy coming from one of the larger spheres.

"I..w..wouldn't touch it..." He murmured before he seemed to be getting his act together. "Y..you say there are others? Someone w..who would..h..help me?"

Seriki gave a chuckle, "Oh? And why is..." He understood a moment later why he was told that he shouldn't touch the ring as he got himself a rather good shock that went through his entire form causing his color changing skin to flicker between various colors before settling back to a bright yellow showing his surprise, "What in the Nine Levels of Hell?" He murmured, flexing his hand, then gave a laugh. Wow but that had been unexpected for sure... to think that the little brat was packing such a wallop in his hula hoop...

"Huh? Someone to help you? Doubtful, most of them are either peacefully going about their lives here or they are chained up in the basement. Though I am sure that crazy would just love to help you!" His tone was dripping with sarcasm but if the angel got that or not was unknown to Seriki since the guy seemed a touch... dense for sure. He didn't seem to understand that he was in a bit of trouble where he currently was. Oh well, not as though he was here to be the angel's tour guide or bodyguard for sure. He just wanted to play with him, nothing more.

Seriki shook his hand for a moment then gave a nod of his head, "Yeah, I think I'm good. It was a little startling but that is about it." He said before giving a chuckle. It stung like crazy at first but once the shock left his system there was only a little numbness left behind. It had been something he deserved for not listening, he'd learned from the mistake, and would be more careful in his attempts to get his hands on the pink haired angel that was hidden behind the magic hoop.

He started to reach for him again, as though thinking on trying his luck once more when he heard voices, unwelcome ones, and he turned quickly toward them, "Oh damn it all, its that a** kiss of a blond. I'm off, Cherry, don't want to get tattled on by him or something. Good luck and welcome to Hell!" He said, giving a grin and hurried off before the Boss's little pet could see him teasing what he was sure would end up as a new recruit. He wasn't supposed to mess with those that worked here after all... a shame, that one had been cute but he would continue his hunting.

"Ah! Here he is." Almas said as he came around the corner, giving a smile when he saw the angel had made it and was in tact, "The portal still needs adjustments..." If it had spit him out all the way over here then it still needed some fine tuning for sure.

His face showed concern for the demon but that was just his nature, with his cherubic shaped face and innocent expression he flinched slightly as he noticed that Seriki was trying to make a grab for him but soon was fleeing.

Startled and...scared all over again he had no idea what to expect, he was about to turn and flee when he sensed...a cracked aura. A fallen? Here? And...a human? Wait...

He stopped and when he spotted the scarred up form of Almas he suddenly launched himself at him and hugged him so hard his halo had to tilt dangerously so it didn't get in the way.

"Oh thank goodness!" He nearly wept, "That demon ...I don'..don't know what he was going to do ...but ..I am so glad your here."

The human Zyane was an older man but seemed just as startled when the angel launched himself at Almas.

"Ah..yes fine tuning indeed...but it did get him here."

Almas's eyes went a bit wide as he suddenly found the pink haired angel in his arms and clinging to him. He looked up in time to see the twin ended tail of Seriki going around the corner before he sighed, bad luck there he thought to himself. His features softened into a smile and he wrapped his arms around him, returning the gesture as he it was rare that he got a hug other then from his children, "I am sorry about that, we had no idea that you were going to appear so close to Seriki, its alright though. Now that we found you you won't have to worry about him bothering you anymore." He said in a reassuring tone of course, after all now that they had found him he was a part of their group and no longer someone that Seriki was allowed to bother due to the contract he was under.

"Come on, do you want to go and meet with the other angels?" He asked of him before looking over at Zyane, "Once I get our new friend settled in I will come back and we can see about working a bit more on it." He offered, he wanted to help because any help he gave to Zyane in perfecting the portal was help that would please his Boss. The angel needed to come first though since he seemed quite traumatized after his run in with the demon... maybe it was something about them being opposites that caused him to land near to him? Something they would need to be really careful with fixing in cause they ever needed a new Abstinence angel. He doubted that the angel would be amused getting zapped into the water with Torekane... the Gluttony demon might like it though.

Almas kept one arm around the pink haired angel as he set to leading him away from where he'd popped up at and toward the Angel Wing of the facility.
