I just wanted to make a thread where anyone can feel free to post their progress (or lack of it), since sometimes it just feels good to broadcast it when you're doing well or vent when you're not doing so well . Feel free to post as often as you care to.

First progress update:
It's day two, and I think I'm doing pretty well so far. I'm ahead of where I have to be by a couple hundred words, and I intend to get a lot more writing done tomorrow. Today and yesterday haven't been the most productive days, writing-wise, because of ten hours at work each day, but tomorrow I only work six hours, so I should have the afternoon and evening to get writing done, and I won't be dead tired like I have been today and yesterday.
Anyway, for now, I'd say I'm right around where I should be. smile

My mouse died, so I've been using the tablet's mouse, but my lamp glares directly on it and gives me a horrible headache. X_X;
I can't decide what to name a major place in my story, and I haven't fully worked out its culture yet. *dies*
I'm currently about 3000 words into chapter one, but since it's rewriting an old chapter, I'm not sure that counts for as much as 3k of new prose. Plus I think 3k is too much for this section. At this rate, the novel's gonna be 600 pages by the time it's done. burning_eyes

Just reached 5k today, so I'm a little more than halfway through one of my shorts. Pretty pleased that I'm ahead of schedule, though I probably won't write more tonight, or at least not much more.

Wrote 700 words yesterday, which brought me to 3K, and I was feeling inspired to write more after work. My brother ended up kidnapping me and taking me to a party instead, and by the time I got home, I was in no state to write anything. >< No shift at work today, so hopefully some good writing time.

Of the 10k I should be at (Assuming the 7th doesn't actually start until after I sleep, which... well, which is WRONG, because it's 5 AM), I have... 878 words. I did accidentally leave some scraps in another file, but it's on the wrong computer and was only about 600 words.
This is going to be a thing. emo
