And so, I have heard this game coming in at some date. But not much information shown in Koeiwarriors announcements. Though since the Samurai Warriors 3, was only for the Wii, does that mean SW3E be only in the Wii as well?

If you scroll down the announcements on the KW front page, it says that SW3E is PS3 exclusive and that the release date is August 25th in Japan. They currently don't intend to release it overseas. Hopefully that'll change, but I'm not holding my breath. It's not like I can play it anyway, being an Xbox 360 owner and all. ;3;

I'm an Xbox 360(And not a PS3) owner as well, though I understand Koei having their reasons very well of not releasing them for the Xbox 360. So now I wouldn't think I'll have high hopes for this unless my brother let's me buy the Samurai Warriors Chronicles. r- r"

Though much of the CAW(Create-A-Warrior) Officers are just simple officers, give them a name, and just change their color. Its not like the DW Empire when you can have Officers and put different body armor parts and stuff. r- r"

Even though I have a PS3, I feel offended that Koei isn't do their fair share with the other consoles.

though its still a little early to tell, but going by what the reps from KOEI said, they have no plans for bringing Samurai Warriors 3: Empires Overseas I'm afraid... :/

None of us work at KOEI, so I don't know what the actual problem was with SW3 -shrugs- don't really want to jump to conlcusions here >_<'''

SW3 being on the Wii was a poor plan on Koei's part. Though the sales in Japan were great for them, when they finally ported it to America which took ages, the hype was down, and they lost a lot of customers due to the fact that not everyone had a Wii and refused to get one for one game. I did... Thats because SW3 was an amazing game and I don't regret ever getting a Wii for it. However what Koei should have done was port it to all systems, which they didn't because I believe it had to with that Murasame Castle game which belonged to Nitendo. Anywho... After they saw their sales sucked from Overseas(Which this is the reason why we did not get Strikeforce 2, but not the topic at question.) I think they pretty much said screw it with any possible sequels which came out in the forms in SW3 XL/Z(Which Z was for the PS3) then eventually Empires which I think is a PS3 exclusive in Japan due to Z being on the PS3, however why bother trying re-marketing a game which the original didn't do well to begin with? Koei needs to make money too. Anywho... Koei screwd us over with SW3 being on the Wii... Hopefully when it comes to the inevitable SW4 we don't miss out on it, and Koei ports it to the right selling systems.
