Okay, so out of all the things bugging me with my girlfriend it's this. For the longest she's told me that her friend wants to meet me. I don't get why, maybe it's one of those, "Hey this is the guy I want to marry" or something since she seems to feel that way about me. I'm not full of myself, but that's the kind of vibe I get. Anyhow, could anyone give me a hint as to what this is about? This is my first serious relationship so I never had to meet my girlfriend's friends or family...except for this one time when I almost got introduced to this one girls parents......long story.

She could want her friend to meet you because she thinks it would be fun to hang out with you both at the same time. Or she could want to get her friend's opinion of you. Or maybe her friend thinks it's about time she met you since she keeps hearing about you. Or it could be something else.
There are many reasons why someone might want their partner to meet their friend(s). Not all girls, all people, all relationships, or all motives are the same. So we don't know exactly what is going on in your girlfriend's head, and we won't be able to tell you exactly which reason(s) she has for wanting you two to meet. If you really want to know why she wants you to meet the friend, you'll have to ask her.

That makes sense, I'm not normally the direct type, but I'll ask her. I actually need to ask her something else related to her friend when I see her. I suppose when I do meet her friend things will start making sense.
