Alright. People have informed me again that the new ball date doesn't work. So here's what we're going to do. I'm going to try and move it one last time to Friday, August 19th - Monday August 22nd. If this date doesn't work for one of the hosts, we'll go back to having the ball on Otakon's weekend, since that seemed to work for everyone, even though it is a less than ideal date to hold a ball. Please, if there's any way that you can make August 19th - August 22nd work for you, you will have my eternal gratitude, and I will consider it a personal favor. However, if this date does not work for you, please PM me. If your friend who is a host can't make it, please PM me. I need this information as soon as possible!

Secondly, I am not feeling well. I haven't been feeling well since I got home from college. We're not sure what it is. I'll get through it, but please understand that I'll be a bit out of it the next few weeks.

We used to run the ball during the school year up until the 6th annual ball when we decided we would like to try the summer, The ball won't really start until 4 pm EST even if we try to start at noon EST. as the mods always are starting the ball late, and ending it late.

I think it might be potentially disastrous to go back to the July date at this point. Everyone has already readjusted to the new schedules, and they might not have everything ready by then.
As for interfering with school, you could always edit the plot for the first part of the day to explain your absence. Anyone who isn't at work or at school when it first opens can man the battle stations so to speak until the hosts get home. Unexpected things happen at the last minute even with the best made plans, so everyone needs to be flexible and willing to deal with inconveniences. I have no idea if I'll have a job by then or not, but we'll edit the plot to accommodate my time problems if necessary.
