In a very public and crowded area is beach area number two. It very well lit and resides smack in the middle between the sand castle competition grounds and the cabanas area.

Adele nonchalantly made her way to the beach, her face indifferent as her feet made contact with the sand beneath them. Glancing around, she displayed her beige towel in a shadowed spot and rapidly took off her dress. Her face slightly turned red. She wasn't quite used to bikinis. Her mother sent her this swimsuit. Otherwise she usually wore a one-piece swimsuit. As expected, of course, Adele had an enormous novel clutched in her hand. This one was 'Gone With The Wind', the fantastic life of Scarlett O'Hara throughout the Civil War. Yes, Adele had read that book before. It was exactly 1073 pages. But it was truly one of Adele's favorites along with Victor Hugo, Jules Verne and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The thin girl dropped onto her towel, crossing her legs as she let her eyes wander around, hoping to see Blake and Alex making their way to the same beach area. No. She was still on her own, "Goodness," she whispered under her breath as she opened her book to the marked page she read last time, "Where is everyone?" she shook her head and resumed reading, soon lost in this world of words and sentences. xxxx xxxx check out the updated links in the icons!

Two figures were masked under the sunlight as they trodded softly on the sand. Their heads were down and looking away from anyone, staring out into the sea. The girl shivered and her brother put an arm around her. It was a nice change of pace to get out of the cold stone castle and to just bask in the sunlight. However, even the warm touch of the light prickling their skin was not enough to take back what had happened. Their brother's death. It haunted them. Such a peaceful place couldn't possibly be the place of a horrible act. And yet it was. And here they were, alone and troubled. It was most unfortunate to find that Adele had to be there as well. It wasn't the happiest memory they wanted to share to their friend. The twins walked arm and arm as their feet walked across the lukewarm water, oblivious to Adele's presence. They walked in silence, a haunting silence and depression overwhelmed them.

Rebecca Finch, 2nd Year, RavenclawRebecca ran down to the shore, dressed in a light blue one-piece that had the pictures of waves on it. She adjusted the golden beach towel on her arm as she put on her sunglasses. The twelve year old was glad to be outside and saw Adele reading nearby. " Good afternoon, Adele." She smiled as she took out her Transfiguration Book and began to review.

Professor of Alchemy..............Ravenclaw"The cycle of life only goes one direction, not even alchemy can change that." ╔══════════════╗ Location: Beach Thoughts: -aarggh ╚══════════════╝
With a single royal blue towel draped over his bronze shoulder, Juan had proceeded to walk towards the beach shore with the flip flap of his flip-flops constantly reminding him of the sand that threatened the cracks of his feets with heat. "-aarggh." Juan had exclaimed with a loud yawn as he stretched his hands over his head and then laced his fingers together behind his skull, allowing his arms to stay propped upright. With a pause, Juan had noticed the few other's gathered all along the beach area, though, he couldn't help but notice the dismal atmosphere that seemed to radiate off of the pair of blondes who strode arm in arm.
His brows wrinkled upright in solemn curiousity, however, he knew none of these people, and as a result, nothing was of his business. So, with that eerily simple thought in mind he had discarded his towel and tossed himself into the cool recesses of the ocean and allowed its natural healing touch to glisten across his skin.

After glancing up for what seemed to be the thirteenth time, Adele caught sight of two bowed, golden heads. It was easy to recognize the sorrow in their slow steps as they strolled slowly on the sand. Adele could notice the loss of their brother in the dark circles underneath their turquoise eyes. Adele herself hasn't smiled for quite a while, or at the very least given a true, joyous smile. Hers were rather small, weak and timid. Adele furrowed her brows in frustration as she watched them walk past her. Somehow her heart seemed to rupture by each slow, downhearted step they've taken. If only she could cheer them up somehow. Even make them smile, she did not mind. Just a smile. Finally jumping off her towel, Adele brushed the sand off her legs and kneeled down to pick up her things. Hearing a voice beside her, Adele forced a weak smile as she took notice of Rebecca taking a seat beside her. They have never gotten the time to know each other, unfortunately. Which was a pity, since they were in the same year and House, "Hello, Rebecca. Excuse me, I need to - " she mumbled and rapidly slipped away to Blake's side, a small, smile on her lips as she looked at the twins, "Hello, you two," she greeted them with a solemn nod of the head, tugging a golden curl behind her ear. xxxx xxxx check out the updated links in the icons!

For a moment, Adele went by unnoticed. It was Alexandria who had noticed the blonde. If it wasn't for her younger brother's death, she would have been smitten at her appearance. However, Blake was in a more glum mood than her and she needed all the help she could need. Blake was still looking towards the waters, oblivious to the new arrival. Letting out a sheepish smile, "Hello Adele." At that, Alex nudged his brother's arm. Knocked out of his daydream, he looked passed his sister to look at Adele. His face was blank but his eyes. His eyes showed the pain that's been swelling up inside him. Putting that aside, he too let out a small smile towards Adele but didn't say anything. Watching her brother, Alex looked like she was on the verge of tears but sucked it in. The grip on her harm tightened and she continued to watch Blake who was still looking at Adele. Wishing for her to say something that might help. Anything. Something that could take the pain away.
