We all remember it right, What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas. Well I was visiting a friend in Las Vegas and her husband brought up a very good point. That slogan was the best slogan ever. He believes this because he is a fine dining waiter, which is a very lucrative profession... he pulls in almost as much as I do.
Anyway, his whole point was that people will pay for privacy to act like insane adults. So by using that slogan the various restaurants and stores and all that stuff could charge more money, and no one would bat an eye. Why because you are paying to have a blind spot on your record. You are paying to keep that fling you had at a bachelor party a secret. You are paying to spend $10,000 on 3 hookers to do weird sexual things to you. You are paying to have a get out of Jail free card.
When you sit down and think about it... really Las Vegas is the only place where you could have such a slogan. At least I think.... New Orleans might be able to play something like that...
