Several of the "regional" law codes have been set up; notably the Code of Jutland, which asserts several modern concepts like right of property; "that the king cannot rule without and beyond the law"; "and that all men are equal to the law". The kingdom has been in general decline because of internal strife and the rise of the Wrath armies.
Daily Life for Non-nobles: Fortisans traditionally face life from the security of the nuclear family, as has been true throughout the years. The Fortisans easily tolerate sexual relations between individuals who are engaged to be married, and it was not uncommon for marriage to take place after a baby is born—although it is considered immoral and unacceptable not to marry eventually.
Daily life might include training for jousting and other military tactics (because Wrath’s forces are so imposing), fishing, sewing for the woman, etc. Architects are also common-place, as Fortisan architecture is quite popular.

Terrain: The terrain of Fortitude is characterized by low and flat to gently rolling plains. Lammefjord being the lowest point and Yding Skovhoej, 173 m being the highest point.
Its capitol city is Galten.
Military: The Fortisans are daring masters of the sea. Their swift wooden longships, equipped with both sails and oars, enable them to mount piratical raids on the coastal monasteries and settlements.

His father trained him for a military life when he was old enough but his heart was never really set on going into the military. His talent was always in designing things that were meant to last centuries though he never shared such things. When he was old enough however he was put into the military to serve on a ship under a distinguished captain. While serving on the ship the captain took the young man under his wing and taught Elliot things that he wasn't aware of.
After a few years of service he left the military to pursue a career in architecture which he did well in. He went on to design many things over the years and he became well known enough he was tasked with doing a little redesigning on the royal family's castle. In light of the war he was sent away for safe keeping in the realm of the god Veritas since he was of more use out of harms way where he was free to think up more things. He wasn't too pleased with being sent of since he didn't think himself really important enough to be sent to safety but he didn't fight much either. Maybe the break he was receiving would be nice after all. P e r s o n a l i t y : He is a polite individual and knows to show respect to those higher than him if for no other reason than self preservation. That is of course not to say he doesn't respect royals it's just he knows well enough that even royals who are cruel need to be shown respect perhaps even more so than others. He enjoys a good conversation when it can be had. He is also very willful and brave when the situation calls for it. P o w e r : Negation - He is unaffected by powers or supernatural abilities what so ever. Something like fire generated from someone would simply roll over his body without harm. A person super humanly strong would be reduced to normal strength when attacking him. The negating extends about ten feet around him as well making power use when by him impossible. He has no conscious control over his ability in this form and therefore can not separate harmful powers from helpful ones. Alternatively however and through conscious use he can negate a single person's powers as long as he concentrates on the person at the cost of his personal negation. ]xxxxxxxxxx P o w e r S t r e n g t h s : With his own personal negation active he is pretty much safe from abilities that would seek to harm him making a potential fight into a physical one most of the time. The other use for his power can negate the powers of a particularly dangerous individual and remove the threat they are. ]xxxxxxxxxx P o w e r W e a k n e s s e s : His power does not distinguish between helpful powers and harmful ones meaning if he is hurt he has to heal the natural way. Consciously using his power to negate another leaves him vulnerable to attack from others with powers. ]xxxxxxxxxx P o w e r M a s t e r y : 7 W e a p o n s : A knife he keeps hidden on his person for self defense purposes.
