Yami walked through the streets of the lively town. It had been a while since she had spent time in a place like this, her gold eyes watched from the dark side of the street. Watching the random villagers partying and enjoying life, she smirked. O how these happy days would soon fade. She chuckled darkly as she moved on down the street.

I'll laugh everything off...
And because I've now lost the sun,
I'll go find the moon... Kuromi stepped out of a shop, shading her eyes from the sun. Seeing the sun shining so brightly was not a common event, since most of the time it rained all day and cleared up at night... She had just been hired for a new job. She had quit her old one at a candy shop after her boss had taken a fancy to her that his wife didn't approve of. Even though things like that happened often, she was hardly ever out of work for long since everyone knew her as a hard worker with a level head.
After pausing to thank the owners of the shop, she stepped out into the street and started walking in the direction of home. The thick crowd of people seemed to part in front of her as she passed, and she ignored the stares that she had become accustomed to. Whispers of "Kuromi", her nickname that meant Black Beauty, were no suprize either. As long as she had lived here, she was still viewed as a ghostly beauty that spoke to nearly noone. She sighed and turned on a different street, one much quieter and less crowded. She took her time walking home nowdays, trying to seem normal and empty-headed like the other village girls, who stopped to gawk at every useless trinket at every storefront. She was a bad actor... Staying to the lesser populated streets Yami passed a very beautiful girl. One word passed through her thoughts.
Outcast
Her hood stayed in placed as she passed the girl. Keeping her face and body hidden she did not want to draw unwanted attention to herself. She is a shadow after all.

I'll go find the moon... Kuromi glanced at everyone she passed, keeping an eye out for danger. It was a nervous habit of hers, to be on guard, her eyes always moving. She passed a cloaked figure on the nearly empty street. Though the figure did nothing to evoke her intrest, the person gave her a unsettling feeling. She slipped into another alley as soundlessly as a wisp of wind. She waved her greetings to a friendly old woman who had once helped her back when she was a small child with nothing. She too had been a stranger in this town once, lost and exhausted from weeks of running from noone knows where. The kindness this town had shown her was awe-inspiring. However, the longer she stayed, the more rumors grew. She would have to leave eventually to continue on her quest. But for now at least, she could feel at least a little at ease Shosen ao no sekai ni

~=~=~=~=~Yamamoto~=~=~=~=~ ~=~Artemis~=~ artemis looked at amira " are you feeling ill. . . ?" amira looked at her and smiled " no. . .just. . uneasy. . .its kind of a outta place feeling. . " artemis shook her head " you shouldnt feel uneasy. . . we both grew up in the water area. . ." amira chuckled " yeah but that was a different town and there, we were both wanted thieves. . . " artemis gave one of her rare smiled " good times. . but those men asked for it. . . " amira nodded " yeah and the town before, they threw rocks at us. . .me, being a " she whispered softly to artemis" deamon. . and you for harboring me. . " artemis looked around "no need to be so secretive. . times have changed. . " she looked at a passing by girl, kuromi, who looked really tense and nudged amira " like her, you shouldnt be so tense. . . or your hair will all fall off. . . " she whipered. amira did a giggle snorted then nodded her head in acknowledgement. amira went into a nearby store as artemis stood outside, breathing in the fresh moist air that was so familiar to her since childhood ~=~Amira~=~

Yami sensed a demon inside a store she passed. A girl stood out side as if w hating for her, across from the store is a park bench. Siting on the park bench, she took out a small bag of crackers. Nibbling on one. As she at the hood stayed in place.

~=~=~=~=~Yamamoto~=~=~=~=~ ~=~Artemis~=~ while waiting, artemis eyed a hooded figure on a nearby bench. amira stepped out of the store with a couple bags in her hands, one with groceries and the other, filled with herbs for artemis. artemis looked at amira and grabbed the bag with herbs and nudged amira to be aware of people. amira looked at the hooded figure and nodded at artemis. they walked to another store, this time artemis walked in and amira stood waiting ~=~Amira~=~

Yami smirked as she put the crackers back into her bag, with a Cheshire cat smile she walked over to the new girl who stood out side the store. It was clear the girl smelled like a demon.
"How are you doing on this lovely night miss?" she said in a child like voice, her cloche did not show her face.

 He and Gray finally got to their destination as he looked at the village. "Well, this is it, gray. You'll be on your then?" He looks at him as the wind blew a breeze into the quiet village. He didn't really want Gray to leave, but....He has to do whatever it is that he has to do to keep him moving forward.

Yami smiled, only this time is was more like a fox.
"Just wondering what the so called demon slayer is like~" she began to spin on her feet. Keeping the opperince of a child, only the slayer was hearing her words.
