Update:

LiS is going strong, and we have a new updated system now. The war is long over (browncoats won, w00t!), and it's now set 3 years into the future, and where we are then. The 4 classes are: StarCon (basically a mini-army), Artisans (companions, doctors, basically art patrons), Spacefarers (most common, people living onboard a ship), and Underground Crime Syndicate.

Ai-Ling (my character) has joined up with The Moya, a small-crewed ship, as the doc.

We need new people. So if you join up now, tell the user GravelRanger that writerserenyty sent you, and you were wondering about a job. Currently our crew has 3 people (plus a passenger) and we may be picking up someone. I don't know how many other spots are available. A mechanic would be nice...

Roleplaying is great. And many people there aren't really experienced. I've been in previous roleplays. It really improves your writing ability, a lot.

You seem to have good grammar from previous posts, no chatspeak... I honestly think you'll do fine.

Despite how that may sound, I don't own LIS. I kepp it running, but so does everyone else who posts there, cos posting is what keeps a site running.

And the thing that kicks serious pe gu, I have a ship. Now it ain't Firefly class, far from it. It's a kinda mix of several ships, but it's a transport, no guns.

I RP the Captain and pilot of Moya (the ship, and a lovley Farscape reference at the same time). his name is Caisphus Kankula (Biblibal and Trekie references) but everyone calls him Cai (Warhammer reference).

He's a whole lotta references.

I got me a good crew, writerserenyty is my doc, and a good one too. Then there's my gunhand, firstmate Gus, who's very......(STORYLINE TO FOLLOW) So I cant say much more about him.

And Bye Bye Adilic is/has just joined my crew, under the character Selah. She's my brand spanking new pilot, so I can do less flying, and focus on my Captainy stuff. We're still lookin for another gunhand, and I have more crew, jsut don't want to go off on a tangent.

Anyways, LiS is great fun. It takes a little getting used to, but if you've got half a brain, can write moderately well, and are a Browncoat, come join.
