Marek wandered through the streets that surrounded the academy, enticed by the smells of the baked goods that were made fresh daily. He stepped into a cafe, in hopes to get a cinnamon with a cup of tea. The cafe however seemed to crowded with other students and visiting alumni witches. He scoffed at having to wait but took to waiting. After placing his order he sat down at a table outside, with umbrella shade. As he enjoyed his tea and sweet cinnamon roll he took to watching the various students and visiting witches, wondering who would be of use to him in his goals and making mental notes based on what he observed.

The weather was hot, bordering boiling point. Really, who on earth would be out on such a day? Theo pondered this as he sat in the shade of the cafe in the town center. He loved hot weather, but this was bordering rather ridiculous.
Once again, he was at Makai Royal Academy, chasing Phil for something or another. He couldn't quite remember what now in such heat, but it was somewhat important. The reason he opted to abandon the cooler metropolis of Moonfall for the sweltering heat of Makai Royal Academy. Seeing as it was rather early to be visiting the bar, Theo had landed himself a spot in the cafe. Students bustled in and out, grabbing freshly baked cinammon rolls and apple strudels as they rushed for classes, townsfolk dropping in for a bite or something.
It was overall, a rather busy hub of the town. Theo settled down with a cup of ice blended tea and an apple strudel, people watching as he waited for the wave of heat to abate and make it much more possible to walk to the other end of town to see Phil.

Marek's gaze fell upon a male witch dressed entirely in blue. 'He seems noteworthy,' He though to himself as he finished his pastry and tea. He stood up and headed over to the witch, summoning a few small black sparks of fire as he did so. The air around him seemed to cool and the shadows grew a shade darker as the light around him seemed to fade away a bit. "I haven't seen you around before," He said to Theo, not bothering to sit down yet, "Either you have business in town or you're here for the lovely tea, delicious pastries, and wonderful weather."

Theo looked up to see a green-haired boy. There was something about him that made Theo bristle just that little bit. "Perhaps." He replied cooly, not being entirely rude but clearly none too keen on having someone to talk to. "It could be all or none of the above." Theo kept the answer purposefully vague. The green-haired boy was dressed like a student of the academy, in a uniform that Theo absolutely detested. He'd shed it as soon as he could.
