Is it Hyuga or Hyuuga. Toonami spelled Hyuga which I think is wrong.

I don't know, because shonen jump spells it Hyuga, the manga spells it hyuga, and just about everybody else says hyuuga. so confuzing. *dies from confuzin*

i think that since technically they are both pronounced the same and are translations of a mongolian language (japanese) to a modern romantic language (english) either spelling is correct.

i don't know if they do this in the manga or not because i haven't seen them say the word for a while, but both ways are correct. usually people spell it hyuuga cuz that's the way it is in the anime subs. Whenever i see hyuga the ' u ' always has a ' - ' sign over it (i don't know what it's called) which makes the ' u ' make the ' oooo ' sound
