I would like to propose a large scale scavenger hunt for artifacts so to speak. I have prepared a back story. I take full credit for the story, no credit for anything taken or stolen.
Eons before time started, a war broke out for possession of a mighty prize: Ebon's Bane. Ebon's Bane was a great and powerful blade that had the power to wipe out cities with but a single stroke and swing of the blade. Sacrificing one's soul to the blade was all that was needed, and it slowly fed off the master in exchange for power of unimaginable strength.
The battle raged until two warriors grasped hold of the sword, and surrendered their souls to it together; one of Earth, and one of Sky. The blade was conflicted and the power overwhelmed both, and it along with them, exploded into billions of particles. Twelve bright lights emerged from the explosion and fell to the Earth below. Mid-fall the items split and six went off on their own agenda, shooting back into the sky and spreading across the world in six directions. The other six went down, and did the same thing, splitting off into six directions.
The war for the Ebon's Bane had just begun.
I can make up names and designs for the weapons, or just some and the rest can be thought of here. However, to be fair I think since this is my idea I will place the artifacts and reveal them as time goes on.
What say you all to the idea?
