Escott was sitting in a small open valley of flowers. He was smelling them and watching the sun set infront of him. He shook out his mane and smiled as he watched around him as the flowers slowly closed as the son stopped touching them. Flowers might be plants but they were really smart he thought. It took a long while but he slowly watched the sun set and all the flowers close for the night. He smiled as he looked over the closed flowers and looked up to watch the stars come out.

It so happened that Fancy was out on a prowl. She had been feeling rather mischevious. There were some things in her blood that drove her to find it hard to resist mischief. That evening as the sun set, she had just come out to find some entertainment. As her sister wasn't there to keep an eye on her or keep her out of trouble, both of her mothers were busy with other things. She had the perfect moment.
She started to dart around speedily through a small patch of flowers. She was enjoying watch the petals fly up in the air around her as she sped around in them; though from her point of view at the time, she hadn't seen it as destroying them necessarily. She was just out having a bit of fun. She kept having that fun right up until she plowed into a lion after not being able to stop in time.
"Ohhhh.. " she paused to rub her head where she ran into the other at. Then, she peeked up at it. "OH.. I am so sorry. Didn't see ya there." She waved a paw and looked over this other feline to make sure she didn't hurt anyone.

Escott was watching the stars, not paying attention to anything around him or he might have heard the female tiger running about before she collided into him. rolling to the side with a groan as he was plowed into he didn't react with any anger. He sat up and looked at the female and smiled. "Oh no don't worry i wasn't paying attention either and was sitting in the middle of this area not doing anything so im not surprised that you didn't see me. Are you ok? I'm fine don't worry, im big and have alot of hair to take the impact." he said with a smile as he looked at her. "With how hard my body is you didn't get hurt too right?" he asked as he shook out the flowers and grass from his mane.

She sat up straight and put out a paw in the air with a wink of confidence. "Well, while that was a bit of clumsiness on my part, it takes a lot more than running into such a most exquisite lion such as yourself.. to knock.. this girl down..." when she got to the part of 'this girl', she curled her paw and gestured back to herself.
She then gave a sigh like older females did when looking at babies. She then plucked a few petals off of his mane. "I am very all right. You really don't need to be sorry. It was totally my fault. I was not paying attention to anything and moving much too fast. One bad thing about tigers... we have a lot of power in the running; but once we get going.. it can be harder to stop all of a sudden."
She then stepped up very close next to him. She gave him a polite but not overly obligating nuzzle. "Thanks for asking though. You're so polite." She then looked behind her and dusted off some petals that were on her cloak.

Escott smiled at her and shrugged. "Its up to debate. If i hadn't been here you wouldn't have run into me. And if you hadn't been running it wouldn't have mattered if i was sitting here, right?" He asked with a smile as he waved off her comments. "I don't like to be mean. I know too many lions that are just mean and loud and fight a lot. Thanks forgetting those last few peddles off my hair." he said with a smile.
"Has no one else been polite to you? Thats not ok. Your nice enough why shouldn't other be polite?" he asked as he looked at her and smiled. She was nice...he hadn't met many females, just a few males who were nice. But this female was nice too.

She looked at him quizzically for a few minutes. "Well... I can't say that there isn't anyone who's not polite to me. My mothers... and my sister...but, I don't always count them. I mean.. aren't family usually nice no matter what? but.. really.. I'm not sure I have a lot to compare you against... I'm pretty young... I haven't really had a lot of ... meetings yet."
She sat and observed him a bit while making sure her trappings were looking as refined as she liked. Running around like a crazy cat always ruffled it up. She always forgot how that happened. "Anyways... I was mostly saying that to just give you a compliment. but, if you're a type of feline who doesn't like to have compliments.. be sure to let me know.. since some don't... some do.."

Escott smiled at her and laughed a little. "Oh well thats nice to have a family. I don't have anyone since i left the carousel. Its ok though cause it just means that i have to meet others so that i can have friends." he said with a smile as he thought about what she was saying. He smiled and listened and shook his head. "Oh no i like complements. I just don't think i got many before. I didn't mean to upset you i just meant to say that neither of us should be at fault cause its ok. I wouldn't have met you if you hadn't crashed into me right?" he asked with a smile.

Fancy paused as she looked him over. She felt rather sympathetic for him. She was attempting to go for a little empathy, but in all honesty, she can't really imagine what it's like without her family. Even if her mothers weren't as present as they are; her grandmothers were almost obsessive over her and her sister.
She finally attempted to shyly pat his shoulder. "Ok then. Noone is at fault. I can live with that for sure. And.. so you say you have no family?" For some reason, this one small fact kept pestering her. While some of her was most definitely mischevious, some goodness from various people in her heritage managed to find hteir way into her. She just couldn't run off to continue her pursuit of nothing... leaving this poor thing to himself.
She started to get up to walk around feeling unsure of what to do. Still, that feeling nagged at her. She then turned her head to him. "Tell you what.. why don't you come with me for a while. I'm sure my family won't mind if I bring you around for a bit. I sure hate to leave you here by yourself. I mean.. as long as you don't think you'd be offended by seeing me pounce flowers and little things that move."
