I met this girl about a couple of days ago. She's 16 and I'm 17 and she's one of those girls who like to text more then talk face to face. I'm cool with that but she is so shy she is hesitant to talk face to face. Well, I think I'm developing feelings for her and I think she is for me as well. Well today she didn't text back at all. The first time I texted her I got a message from her number saying her phone was temporarily out of service. I tried a couple more times later on in the day but didn't get the message anymore. I sent her a FB message telling her that her phone was saying that but she didn't reply and I know she read it. I'm a little worried here because the last time we talked didn't end on a great note. Opinions?

It's really tough to say what's going on since there are so many possibilities. Maybe she's been too busy to respond, maybe someone was there and she wanted to wait until she was alone before she responded, maybe she plans on responding but wants to think about exactly how she wants to word things, maybe she's angry and needs to cool off a little, maybe she's so angry that she never wants to talk to you again, etc. If you feel bad about how things ended the last time you talked, you could send her another message to apologize. Other than that, I think all you can really do is wait and see if you hear from her. It sounds like she knows that you want to talk, so it's up to her now to make the next move.

Waiting just kills me, but I suppose it is the only route. I wish she wasn't so shy because you loose so much through the medium of phone conversing
