Rules
1) Have Fun! This is an RP. If you're not in it to enjoy yourself and the storyline, then you shouldn't be posting here.
2) No God-Modding! No Auto-Hits! If you're going to launch an attack at someone, it's alright to describe what -might- happen if they get hit by it, but give them a chance to respond in the event that they might be able to dodge. Alternately, if you're the target of an attack, be realistic: no one can dodge everything and this isn't Naruto so you can't just put a log in your place and pretend you were never in danger in the first place.
3) Unless you have clearly written permission to do so, don't control anyone else's characters.
4) Posts should be literate with some effort at correct spelling, grammar and punctuation. Really, don't be afraid to use a dictionary if you have one.
5) Moumantai. If there's something you don't understand, feel free to ask.
Story
The Shadow Network is the gathering place of unpurified data that is not sent to the Village of New Beginnings to reconfigure. The powers of darkness imbedded in the unpurified data collects over time and occasionally produces a powerful evil digimon such as Apocalymon, Diablomon, Millenniumon or Demon. These digimon are capable of transcending the rules of the digital world; altering the flow of time between worlds or traveling between worlds without the use of a gate. Even though these digimon are often defeated by specially selected chosen children, their influence reverberates across the multiverse. And each time the powers of darkness generate a new vessel to conquer the light, the new digimon becomes increasingly powerful with heightened destructive powers. Thus, the cycle goes on.
The Digital World is divided into a series of inter-connected levels, the dominant population of each being determined by its data carrying capacity and the varying strength of the digimon moving between them. The highest level has been seized by the Chaos Generals, a group of powerful digimon in likeness to the original Dark Masters and other equally legendary digimon. Each level has existed in harmony, stronger digimon moving to higher levels and weaker digimon remaining in the lower levels. The Four Holy Beasts, despite their incredible strength and wisdom, remain on the lowest level to watch over the Village of New Beginnings and inspire young digimon to strive for greatness. However, disaster struck when Chimeramon was released into the lowest level area. To deal with the rising threat of Chimeramon, the Four Holy Beasts reach out to children from another world to join forces with promising young digimon.
The instability of the Digital World and the arrival of the Chaos Generals is all connected to an influx of data from the Shadow Network. However, the true vessel of the powers of darkness has yet to be revealed...

Digivice Information
For the purposes of this RP, we will be using the Digimon Accelerator (DA) as our model of digivice. Among the typical functions of a digivice, the DA also has the ability to:
1) Store Digimentals (Digieggs) for use during Armor Evolution. It is possible for a Child or Adult level digimon to Armor Evolve into an armor digimon. In this instance it is also possible for a partner digimon to Armor Evolve from either level and to Slide Evolve if the resulting digimon are different.
2) Store Spirits for use during Spirit Evolution. It is possible for a chosen child or their digimon to Spirit Evolve into a Hybrid digimon. In this instance it is possible for a partner digimon to Spirit Evolve from any level and to Slide Evolve between human and beast Spirits. If a chosen child is intended to be the one to Spirit Evolve, then their digimon can't be compatible with Digimentals or Spirits.
3) Store weapons and artifacts found in the digital world to be activated in battle. This function will serve as an alternative to the Digimon Tamers aspect of Card Slash (Digi-Modify) because we're certainly not likely to be collecting cards in the digital world.
4) The trigger button along the side of the digivice can be pressed repeatedly to increase the strength of the partner digimon's attacks. Sometimes this process can be even more effective than actually making the digimon evolve.
Note: Food and other generic items can also be stored in the digivice.
