 Lena walked into the meadow. It was so much more peaceful than the school. She wondered where Koori went to, but she was willing to give up soon. Lena sat in the grass as she thought. She really wanted to go on that mission, but she had to recruit people to go. Lena wanted to do it on her own though.

Amelia had wandered out of the forest over to the meadow, she was about to head over to the waterfall when she spotted a girl sitting in the grass. She dropped to a crouch and observed the person. It didn't take Tigra long to notice black horns protruding from the girl's head. She relaxed a bit, she was more at ease around mutants than humans. Amelia stayed crouched in the grass and slowly crawled by to the waterfall. Her tails flicked up above the grass and her ears were just visible.

Lena hadn't noticed the mutant yet. She was still thinking about what she was going to do. Lena thought she had heard something but it wasn't there. More lets say she just didn't see what was there.

Amelia "Tigra" Oglesby
Amelia was in the middle of her little journey when something caught her eye. She slowly looked to the side to see a big rabbit standing not too far away. Meat! Her mouth watered just thinking about it. She crept quietly to the small animal until it heard her and took off. Amelia bounded after the creature, right by the girl. She jumped at it, pinning it down with her paws, then broke its neck. She sat up happily, holding the dead rabbit by the ears in front of her, "Mmm..I can't wait to cook you!"

Lena or known as Midnight jumped up as the tiger like girl came zooming past her. When the girl caught her rabbit she said to her in a yelling like voice since she was farther away, "watch where you are going...and nice catch." Lena is not the nicest person, but she wants to change but doesn't know how to.

Amelia noticed the girl again and reared her ears back. She kept a firm grip on her meal and stared curiously at Lena. "What kind of mutant are you?" She said this without thinking, it was always her first desire when meeting another like her to know what made them how they were. She sat down in the grass in her spot a good distance away from Lena, not knowing whether to trust her or not.

Lena watched the cautious girl. She answered the girl, "I really don't know what I am. All I know it that I can form black orbs from my claws, in between my horns, and from my mouth. Also that I have black horns and black claws." Lena watched the girl grip her meat like she was going to take it from her. It kind of made Lena giggle.

Amelia nodded, "I suppose the black orbs are weapons?" She looked down at the girl's hands, noticing for the first time the claws on them. "I guess I'm not the only one with strange hands." She gave a small smile and held up a paw to show her. Amelia noticed the other girl looking at her rabbit and giggling. She gripped the animal close to her chest, every meal was precious to her. She had no money, no home, and no friends; she had to fend for herself and catch or steal any food she got.

Lena knew it was the right thing to do and said, "Ummm i never caught your name....but I was wondering if you are all alone and have no where to go you can come with me. I live at this very great school for people like us...mutants. There are a lot of them there." Lena smiled at her hoping she would come.

Amelia blushed lightly, she always forgot the rules of society, like introducing one's self. "I'm sorry my name is Amelia Oglesby...and you?" She looked down at her rabbit thinking about what the girl had said. "A school for mutants? That sounds wonderful, but I'm afraid I don't have any money to go to school." The offer sounded great, but she thought it was too good to be true. There had to be some catch that would prevent her from going. Amelia twisted off the rabbit's head and started to skin it with her claws as they had their conversation.

Lena smiled and said, "I am Lena or you can call me Midnight. You can go without money to this school. Professor X is very nice. He treats everyone great." She watched her skin the rabbit, but Lena was not grossed out at all.

Amelia looked up, "I will visit the school, if I may." She mumbled more to herself, "It'd be so nice to sleep in a real bed, I haven't in so many years." She stood up, "Would you take me there, please?" She would eat the rabbit on the way, she didn't need to cook it, really. It was just nice to when the occassion was possible. Suddenly she remebered, "Wait! Please wait real quick!" Quick as a flash she darted back into the forest, sprinting over roots ad under branches. Amelia returned wearing a long trenchcoat that disguised her body and a beanie on her head, pressing her ears down and out of view. "Ok, I'm ready."

Lena smiled and said, "Yea, you can come visit, and I am very willing to take you there." She watched the girl run off to get something. When she saw the Amelia had a trench coat she smiled and said, "I can't go out in public since it is too hard to hide my horns. So you won't need that I know a back way around the town."

Amelia nodded, she understood how Lena felt not being able to go out in public and appreciated that she knew a way there around the town. Nevertheless she kept the clothes on, she still felt like she would be stared at even at the mutant school because she knew most mutants looked completely humans or close to it. Amelia followed Lena out of the meadow to the school. ((OOC: I suppose the next post can be in Professor X's office))
