Yuffie, in her crime fighting clothes; shorts and crop top and knee knigh shoes, was in her apartment that day in the early afternoon. She stretched and yawned while walking in the kitchen, and turned on the radio, which she often did incase the news would tell of any sudden news she needed to hear about. She decided to make pancakes this morning, for her her days consisted of waking up at noon and being lazy in her apartment all day and going out and fighting when she had to. Yuffie was a very lazy girl except for when she was fighting when she couldn't be.

Yuffie was whistling flipping the pancakes when she heard the person talking on the radio become serious. She stopped and listened, "This just in, a blimp no one knows who's controlling and with no advertisements is floating slowly around the city. We are trying to figure out what it is and who's controlling it, we'll have more on it later when we've found out." The radio stopped it's broadcast and went back to music. Yuffie un-froze herself and dropped the spatula to run over to the window and open it all the way and stick her head out. She looked up and all over, trying to see if it was anywhere near.

Yuffie couldn't find the blimp, as it was on the other side of the building, but started to see green stuff come into her view. He started coughing and shut the window suddenly. That was a close one... She remembered she was burning pancakes in the kitchen and ran over and shut the stove off, suddenly not hungry anymore. She looked out the closed window again and saw the green intoxicating air was spreading around the whole building, she shut all the windows in her house and ran into her room. She got on what she wasn't wearing of her superhero costume, her belt, her hand socks, and finally; her headband. She had transformed into Black Cat, the town knew her as, and needed something to stop herself from breathing in the mysterious green poison. She didn't have a gas mask so she put on a black handkerchief around her mouth and over her nose, only showing her eyes, it would have to do for now, and protected her identity more, making her look mysterious. She opened the window cautiously then, and jumped out it onto the ledge, it was dangerous because she was on the top of the seven-story apartment. She carefully shut the window behind her, not wanting any more to get inside her house, and jumped onto the roof from there. She started running and jumping from building roof tops from there, going towards where the green acid was coming from.

Yuffie, now as Black Cat, ran as fast as she could across the buildings, jumping every now and then when the building top ended. She got her name from having black hair and people seeing her cat-like abilities, running around on roof tops and all. The bimp was a little father away from her apartment, so it took a bit of running to get there. She finally got close enough and climbed up one of the tall 100 story buildings used for business and jumped onto the back of the blimps rails for going outside and held on tight. She grunted as she finally hoisted herself up onto the windy deck, and entered the back door, hitting and knocking out two guards standing there. Then she continued running, her goal to get to the front.

Yuffie didn't run into that many guards or henchmen working the blimp after, she was running along a giant pipe that had the contained gas in it, and there was another henchmen standing at the end of it, who just noticed her. The door to the front of the blimp was just fifty feet below, she was so close, she just needed to defeat this henchmen. She took out a staff from her back and ran faster towards the guy, and stopped at the edge of it when she tried to push the guy off with it. The enemy surprisingly grabbed her staff, and twisted it out of her hands and threw it to the side, it falling off the pipe. She was taken aback and while she was still surprised he grabbed her and pushed her off the pipe. While he took her in his arms she grabbed onto his arms too and he ended up falling into the air with her, they let go of each other once they realized they were falling and he went into the opposite direction, but Yuffie was still falling, she was in real trouble now, all that was in here to fall on was hard metal.

Yuffie was waiting to hit the hard ground holding her head until she felt someone catch her. She let go of her head and opened her eyes when the person asked her if she was okay. She looked around, one hand on the guy who was holding her for support. "W-What?" She noticed they were flying safely. She turned her head back sharply to the man she was being held by. "Who are you?" She asked a little threatening, as she didn't know if this guy was apart of the blimps henchmen or just saved her...
