We all know pirates are flamin'. Come on.

In a land far, far away there is a group of misfits! (I.E. Pirates) There are different captains and ships that bring terror to the seas and mainlands. The most dangerous and feared pirate of all is Captain Rodrigo Montego Guadalupe III. Dashing and clever, this man commands The Trujillo. He has prohibited women from ever stepping on his ship...for they are...bad luck.

Konton walked on the dec, breathing in the salt air. They were supposed to be a day or two from landing. It crossed his mind if it would take him time to adjust to the land again or not.

Captain Rodrigo Montego Guadalupe III was busy at the helm with his compass, directing the course of the ship. He smiled at the feel of the favourable wind, "Hmmm...if this keeps up we'll be there early..."

Konton shock himself mentally and began to do his work, at the moment he was tending to some rope that had been frayed with age and needed replacement.

The Captain whistled cheerfully and shut his compass. He pulled out a cigar and placed it between his lips. It lit up with a spark and Rodrigo smoked calmly, looking out at the waters.

Konton stopped for a moment, his ears picking of the noise of a match being lit. He looked around to make sure some idiot wasn't doinbg it near anytthing important that could burn. His eyes fell on the captian. Longer then they should for just trying to found out where a match was lit.

"Hmmm...?" The Captain could almost feel eyes burning into his back. He turned quickly and sighed when he saw Konton's familiar face. "Ahoy there, Konton."
He tilted his head up slightly in greeting.

"Well...It seemed to be a three day journey, but it looks like we'll be makin' it in two," The Captain grumbled back. It seemed the men were always asking them that question as if they were dying to be on land. Of course, the island they were headed to was supposedly full of treasure, but still, the Captain almost always preferred to be at sea. He tossed Konton a grin, "Why do you ask? You're not turning landlubber on me, are ya?"

The Captain laughed robustly, the cigar hanging from his mouth. He pulled it out and looked out on his ship. It was a lovely night and the dim lanterns gave the ship an eerie, but comfortable feel. He looked back up at Konton, never loosing his grin. "It's awfully quiet tonight. Don't tell me all the others are passed out drunk already!"

Konton smiled as he looked out at the ship and the sea before turning bck to respond to the captain. "No, they're getting thre I'm sure. They ere just trying to think what kind of booty we'll find on the island exactly."

"Ahhhh...is that what they say?" He narrowed his eyes delightfully. He always loved to hear what his men talked about when he wasn't around. It was rare that they were ever completely honest in his presence. He didn't want to tell anyone that it was possible that there was no treasure at all on the island.
