Theme : Employment Spells - Coin(s). Essentially this is a double restriction. A restriction to employment spells and a restriction within that grouping of Employment spells that revolve around having Coins involved in the spell. It may be harder to find coin spells for employment, so Charms on Coins [Universal] or Spells that can make Coins as a talismans are fine but you should have another employment spell that makes an object a talisman/charm. So essentially we are taking two spells and merging them into one with our adaptations?

biggrin I figured it might be harder to find a coin orientated one, but I have seen a few bottle spells that deal with coins and various implementation. :O

I think I can find something.
I also think that there should be a thread in the spells forum of this guild for all of our spells. I may one day write a spell/ritual book using spells I've written and those I've received from friends (proper credit given).

Spell Name: Ten of Diamonds Professional Success and Happiness Spell
(page 184)
(note from book) Playing and tarot cards may be used to influence your future as well as foretell it. The key, in both cases, is to choose the right cards.
1. Remove the ten of diamonds from a new deck of playing cards and lay it on a dish.
2. Sprinkle it with Crown of Success Oil and Magnet Oil.
3. Add a handful of coins and/or paper money and/or spirit money.
4. Carve a green candle with your identifying information.
5. Dress the candle with Crown of Success and Magnet Oil.
6. Place the candle atop the card and burn.
7. Once the candle has completely burned, father up the ashes, coins, whatever is left of the playing card (which may or may not burn) and any fortuitous-looking wax remnants. Place them in a red mojo hand. Carry it with you or keep it in a safe place.
I can list the pages for the ingredients/how to make of both oils out of the book. But I won't list how to make them here as I don't have the time, nor am I going to use the oils in readaptions.
For those who aren't understanding where the employment aspect comes in on, the 10 of diamonds is usually a signifier of a change for better financial success according to several websites that I've seen. It's the equivalent of the Pentacles/Coins in a Tarot deck.

Readaption 1.
1. Take a new playing card deck and either touch it to someone who works at the place you want to work at, or touch the physical building with it.
2. Pull the 10 of Diamonds out of the deck.
3. Write the position that you want on the card and the business's name.
4. Rub the card with either coins or paper money.
5. Burn the card and put the ashes in small vial or pouch in which to carry with you or to sprinkle around your house.

Readaption 2.
Take a new (some kind of )dollar bill [or what monetary denomination you are used to] (preferably fresh from the bank) and a new deck of cards.
Place the 10 of diamonds from the new deck of cards on top of the (insert amount) dollar bill [folded so that the card is covering everything)
Take a candle and carve the name of the job that you want or the position details.
Place the candle on the 10 of diamonds.
Burn the candle until the wick hits the card, pull the card up (and wax) and place the dollar bill either in your wallet or into your bank account.

quick question: would spells that help bring in customers or improve sales in the case of one's own business count as employment as well?

Readaption 3.
Take a new 10 of diamonds out of a card deck.
Take a silver coin (yes, a silver coin).
Place the objective of getting a new job (or improving your job) on to the card.
Burn the card on top the coin.
Keep the coin in your wallet.

Readaption 4
Take four silver dollars or basic half dollars.
Place them in such a way that a 10 of diamonds will sit on top of them.
Get a new 10 of diamonds and place it on top of them.
Burn some incense and blow the incense on top of the card.
Visualize/Assign energy to pass through the 10 of diamonds to your coins.
Bury the coins at the four corners of your house OR carry the coins with you.

So you kept both the 10 of diamonds and the coin aspect of the spell in each adaptation. Was there a specific reason for that?
I actually understand your 3rd adaptation more than the original spell.
