I think it is high time that we begin to look carefully at our guild and work together to re-vamp it for everyone's needs. Thus I am opening up this sticky to hear suggestions from our loyal and new members alike to contribute their ideas. here are some simple rules on posting suggestions.


1. All suggestions are welcome big or small.

2. No other member shall cast their very negative opinion in this thread or anywhere on the suggestion.

3. All suggestions will be discussed amongst Everyone

4. Be patient, we will respond to the suggestion once we give it ample consideration.

5. We believe in creating a positive environment and encouraging our members, thus ideas while be given credit for their suggestions. This will hopefully encourage others to come forward with their suggestions.

Since no one else is currently using the suggestion box I think I will take the opportunity to repeat ara whatever his name was's idea. Some of the threads are clogging up the guild and we don't need some of them. I would like to put forth the suggestion of having a big ol' guild clean out which includes:

Sending PM's to all members. Those who don't reply in say 15-30 days should be removed.

Removing unwanted or useless threads that haven't been touched in ages. This would make our guild look much more attractive to new members.

I would suggest going through the Profiles, Taking out the old/unused characters who do not belong in Invictus.
So many hundreds of them were posted in the Thread without ever participating in the RP proper. and many others made only a few short posts before giving up/losing interest.

Kege, while that does seem like a good idea to me, they may be some members that have so little time on their hands that are trying desperately to get in touch with us...I don't actually know anyone that fits that description, but it is a possibility.

Someone needs to re-read one of the rules of the suggestion box biggrin

Anything that gets suggested here, should the entire crew, VC and Cap included want to take the idea I suggested then it will be brought up for discussion in the mod forums. If you want to take a suggestion and put your own twist on it than you are free to do so thus we get the progress of a suggested 'improved' suggestion and no negativity which encourages more and better suggestions!

If you do not like my suggestion, take what I have written and put your own spin on it to reflect your ideas in your own words. In other words brake the mold and create your own masterpiece XD

Remember that this is for all of us to help improve our guild as a group while also maintaining a positive atmosphere for new and old guildies alike.

It's not a negative opinion, I'm just saying that it may be a possibility and it can happen. I did say I liked the idea, I was only stating a possibility, even if it is a slim one. If you'd like, we could continue this over PM, so no one else has to see useless posts.

I support the idea of cleaning up the profiles pages. An easier method of that, though, might be to recreate the profile pages and sending out a mass PM or announcement to all guildies to take their profiles and move them to the new page and then trashing the old one after a period of, say, a month. That gives everyone plenty of time to go through the profiles, pick out the ones that they want to keep, and then putting them properly in place.

However, I remain on my original stance to the second opinion, although upon reflection, there are a few stores in the market place that were "closed" and I guess would be fine to open the buildings up for 'lease and sale' again. Maybe a bit of renovation to them. But to delete the pages is just... Well, I'm going to try and keep negativity out of this thread, as per the rules. I've offered my expansion upon the original idea.

Faction learders sould be wieghted with the responsability of cleaning up their profile sections. As is leaders have little responsabilty and their benefits outwigh this

Okay lol Butters faction to clean will be the thieves. . . . . . HE'S DONE! lol

I will not expect my crew members to go through all the trouble of doing this if they don't want to volunteer. I will however have to exclude myself from rping so I can start on the reconstruction.

Also, Kege I love the idea of a suggestion box but final voting should be by everyone. . . . not just crew. Final decision shall be left to the faction leaders and myself and Draka will take care of the common areas (ie forest, marketplace yada yada) Some things are not getting deleted though. Some of the threads we kept for the fact that they add to our whole story line. So even if it hasn't been used in months like say the thieves guild back room well it's staying there because in the future it could very well be used. People's rooms and homes that have quit the guild however can be deleted and some of the stuff off the main page as well but again I'm not gonna ask anyone to do that.

So voting is open to everyone I guess should the crew (probably gonna end up being me lol) start a clean up before I mass invite people, also will you be understanding if we aren't responding right away?

I have made the adjustments... but really this is your guild. Why didn't you just edit the post? I have a write to complain but no right to refuse without justifiable grounds.

If you want I can clean up the central area, but do you just want it cleaned up? Or did you want to create another sub-forum to just dump the junk in for nostalgic purposes?

Well, it was your post and you're crew so I didn't just wanna change it. Also, if you wanna go through and delete things sure but make sure they are threads that aren't made by the people that are still active or atleast have been active for a long while. Just delete the tones made by our members that joined for a week then up and left right after. smile I'll look through the rest and send out some messages just to be fair.

Have a main thread for which All Alliances, NAP, and War announcements are made.
