Just wondering. I had heard from somewhere that a girl became infertile when her mother made her take 2 types of hormonal BC. And I talked to a friend of mine who takes it. She told me you can get 2 prescriptions for BC from the same doctor as long as you discuss it with them and sign a legal form. If this is true I would be highly interested in trying this and being choosy of which ones would be a good combination that would cause me to become infertile but of course not likely to screw up other parts of my body. Is this asking for too much from taking more than what's suggested when taking BC?

That sounds very suspect to me.

Suspect? I'm not trying to insult your grammar or anything but do you mean suspicious? Like I could be doing it for some other purpose? I'm not if that's what you mean.

No, I mean suspect. As in, this sounds like it is not true. Oxford Suspect adjective Pronunciation: /ˈsʌspɛkt/ not to be relied on or trusted; possibly dangerous or false: a suspect package was found on the platform

Hmmm... well it sounds like there might be some validity to the claim... however... it is hard to say to be honest... then again chemicals do all kinds of things to your body...

As long as all the damage goes to my reproduction that's all I care about. A life without the curse and infertility? That's only something I've been dreaming about since I hit puberty.

confused Well, what if it kills another vital organ in the process? What if the chemicals combine in some way to that causes you stop breathing or stops your heart?
That is the problem with chemicals friend. The human body has its own chemicals and hormones. If you take two chemicals and they react and form a third chemical that reacts with your body. Bad things could happen. I mean I do not want kids as much as you do. However, chemical deaths are rarely painless or quick.
If I were you I would explore more of the temporary infertility options women have. Best to not take risks if you do not have too. stare if only I had a few thousand dollars I could buy my infertility. Granted I bet I could find a way to chemically castrate myself.

Hence the original post asking if this was asking too much out of taking extra BC.

I wish I could help you more friend. However, unless you have medical connections finding information on how exactly certain hormones effect your body is really hard. Remember hormones are a different kind of chemical. They can affect your whole body. I do recall a lot of birth control products warn about Haemorrhaging... or is that my imagination. Anyway, if you can tell me exactly what birth control you are using I might be able to figure out a bit more for you. Though I am sure that posting how to make drug cocktails is against the gaia EULA. So.... hmm... well I can word it... some how.
Anyway, I would not do it. The last thing we need is to have someone die or get REALLY hurt by abusing birth control. That kind of thing is getting hard to get as it stands. What with all the conservatives and that jazz.
I will stick to my guns as on the whole temporary infertility thing too. It is a once a 5 year thing, from what I have heard. I bet that it is something that can be set for longer too. Take advantage of that.

I'm not taking something like Mirena. Too invasive for me. I'm not letting a doctor see my wife parts.

confused ... Doctors are there to give you ideas and options to deal with this. I know they are not always on our side. However, if anything they can keep you from hurting yourself.
stare I say take advantage of the fact that women have many options. As a male I have very few. confused I wish more of our previous members were active because several of them managed to get sterilised. Granted it did involve going to a doctor.
