For whatever reason there is no place to introduce ourselves, and seeing as gw2 is supposed to be all about mass multiplayer figure it would be good to get to know each other.
I am Sakara Okira in Guild Wars.
I own the Guild Wolven Druids of Kryta, we are a small guild.
My main in gw is a Ranger, and for good reason my first GW2 character will be a Sylvari Ranger, Though I will play every class.

Hello, didn't actually play the original Guld Wars, and only heard about the sequel through random chance, but was immediately intrigued by it, and have been following it ever since.

I'm actually just getting into the original GW, so I have a fresh level 20. My main character's name is Viales Highborne. She's a fire Ele/Necro. Currently, I'm working on building up my Hall of Monument achievements.

Greetings. I too have played the first GW some, but am really psyched for GW2. During the beta weekend events, I've been running around with close friends in the guild I founded: Band of Noble Knights [BONK]. We like to explore, say silly things, kill nasty monsters, and see how a particular friend of ours (poor Zaymot) will kill himself next.
I've been forced to play a human engineer during the BWE, but on launch day I'm rolling an Asura Engineer first thing.

Been playing GW1 off and on since its release, and I'm insanely psyched about GW2! Probably to an unhealthy degree, haha. xD I wasn't aware of this guild until tonight, it's cool to see a community for the game on Gaia! ^^

Hi, I've been playing GW off and on since Factions debuted with the Ritualist, which is my favorite >3<
I wasn't too interested in following the news of GW2 when it was first announced but when I heard Asura was going to be playable... well, been on that banwagon since. Planning on making a Con.Damage Engineer with Elixir Gun being her main kit.
I'm BIG on mmo rping. Currently working on a small rp guild that welcomes and helps players create a realistic story for their character. Also, some fun forum text rps and forum rps (not so used) until the game is launched.
I find that RP guilds also add to the endgame and fun of any mmo.

I've been playing Guild Wars for about 5 years now, usually running an MM necromancer or a paragon. I like my support classes, trying to tip the battle in favor for my allies. I've never really considered rping in an mmo until I started filling out the personal story and the characters just kinda started having more personality and inviduality.

Woo! I was hoping for a Guild Wars 2 guild on gaia! heart I'm very excited for the launch of Guild Wars 2 coming out soon!
I haven't been much of a fan till I met my boyfriend. I have had my Guild Wars account for about more than a year and I'm waiting for GW2. I wanted to buy the collectors edition, but I ended up with the Deluxe! biggrin Still very happy though!

Hi! I actually don't have the game yet, but it should be here in the mail in the next couple days sweatdrop I was waiting for it to go on sale on Amazon (it did!) and I had to Ebay some stuff to afford it. I've been reading a lot of good things about it, so I hope this will be a great fantasy MMO for me. I never played Guild Wars though I've played some other MMOs (like WoW, Rift, WAR, etc).
I'll be on Eredon Terrace server since my friends are already there.
I really love the Sylvari, I love dryads anyway, so I plan on making one. I'm not sure which classes I want to play most, I was turned off at first that there were no "healers" but I learned the game was different and there's a lot else that appeals to me. I'm planning on a Hunter and Meismer so far probably.
I was hesitant to get it at first since I'm so upset/depressed right now with NCSoft over their abrupt killing of City of Heroes, which has been my main MMO for a number of years crying
Also, why are so many people Humans when there are so many cool race choices??

No healers are why this game is so great! Mostly because now, every class can be a healer of sorts, in their own way. Mesmers are pretty nice, couldn't rate ranger though since I haven't played them.

I'm generally not much good at melee, and I like being healer/buffer most, but there's no real corresponding class that jumps out at me in this game. I don't know really want to play. But I guess I'll just have to try stuff out and see what I like.

But I guess I'll just have to try stuff out and see what I like. I'm actually a buffing/support type person myself, actually. I found the guardian to be really nice, and a good number of their skills are centered around healing and proteecting allies. If you don't want to melee with them, there's the staff and scepter combo, which is actually pretty nice. It's currently my favorite class, with necromancer being a close second. Necros are also pretty good for support, although they do more debuffing than buffing.
