The ground is obscured by a thick fog, concealing a endless pits. A winding path made of stairs lifts out of the fog, and seems the only safe place to step. In the distance a odd structure stands, a jet of fire streaming out of it .The ground next the the structure is fog free.

The Vice Captain has deemed that the stairs are indeed made out of ice (because she said so). Fire needs to be of a temperature greater than 700 degrees (a roll higher than 7 on a fire-based attack) to melt them. Special ice. The fire from the pillar is 500 degrees.

 Kainde Amedhia Kainde, arrived at the entrance to Arena Two. He took a step in, and then quickened his pace. "First one here... Damn." His long purple swayed softly in the gentle breeze. Unlike his original plan of holding back, the full strength of his aura was shown. The blood from re-opened wound still dripped down his face. The demon cocked his neck, and stretched. He popped every bone in his body back into pace, then he quickly pulled his hair back into a pony tail. His eyes close, and his arms closed. He un-wrapped his arms from his body, and pulled one across and he continued to stretch and loosen his muscles. The male then sat down, and stretch his legs and lower back. He re-adjusted his bones, so he would be taller. He now stood at 5 foot even. "Psh... wasn't expecting to be the first fight.... What happened to Urameshi, and JD6? Who cares, we got this." Class:S-

Voice: Augus Augus finally entered the arena with his arms crossed and an emotionless look on his face. Walking up next to Kainde, Augus looked around studying the arena. "Hmp..interesting..." he said aloud then began to grin. [enters]

Kiyoshi marveled at the amazing area, eyes wide as he turned and looked at all the different sights to see. It was beautiful and the perfect place to fly. He didn't want to fight, don't get him wrong, but if he did....he could certainly try.And I want a moment to be real,

Kainde Amedhia "About time Augus, I thought you chickened out! " The small demon replied. Kainde smiled, and jumped up on the monitor. He shouted at it, "HEY SEN!!! I AM GETTING READY TO FIGHT. HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER!" then he fell off the monitor, and walked back over to his spot. The first person from the other team walked in. "H-h-hello there. I am Kainde," he said to Kiyoshi. Class:S-

Voice: Augus Augus let out a roar of laughter at Kainde's buffoonery. "Hoping your mate is watching you fight? Better not lose." Augus said teasing Kainde. When he noticed a member of the other team enter, Augus studied him and grinned more. "Stay away from the enemy son! Unless you want to meet the same fate!" Augus barked at Kainde.

 ~ Kara the Fire Dragon ~ Kara flew in, and spotting Kiyoshi, flew a playful circle around him in greeting before hovering to take in the view. Thick fog on the ground, a pillar of HER element in the distance, that she could draw power from, and limited areas for the land bound demons. That fog though... She stared at it for a moment, then swooped down and let a small burs of energy out, burning away the fog in a small patch. the cleared area revealed a deep dark pit before the fog closed in again. "No wonder there are raised platforms in this area. If you were on the real ground, every step you took would risk falling into one of those pits." she was profoundly grateful she had wings, at that moment. Noticing the other two from the opposing team, she waved. "Hey there. You two were at the training ground if I recall correctly. I'm Kara."

This arena was truly something else. It almost seemed as though it was crafted specifically for his team. Touya stepped onto the frozen platform, taking his place near his fellow teammates. "Seems the terrain is in our favor, at least~" he noted before averting his attention towards his two foes. "Ah. Hello, again."

(I had assumed marble.. but no. That looks like ice. Oh lordy this looks rigged in our advantage, element wise anyway.
On second look. it looks like both... ice covered marble? If it were just ice that fire spitting structure would have melted long ago. Maybe ice covered marble further out?)

((As Amena's offline and I don't want to risk holding up this match because of the issue and don't want to hassle with possible ret-con descriptions, I've made an administrative decision about the material of the field. The information is now in the first post. They're probably actually some kind of calcite or other type of crystal, but this is a Makai battlefield, the more perilous the better biggrin ))

Kainde Amedhia Kainde smiled, two more from the other team showed up. that one has fire like abilities, Shishi did say that they manipulated the elements. Lets see.... that means, Water, Fire, Ice, Wind, Earth, Dark, Light, Nature.... We could narrow it down alot but that would take too long Observing Touya and the way he stepped onto the ice. But he didnt want to make an assumption, just based on his movements. "Augus," he whispered, "Shishi did say that they manipulate the elements. That girl does Fire. Wonder what Touya does... do you know?" The bone demon was always analyzable. Class:S-

~ Kara the Fire Dragon ~ (Okay. Sorry. Different people have different opinions about completely OOC posts, but now that I know I'll avoid making them.) As Touya showed up and commented on the terrain, Kara nodded and landed closer to the structure. Here there was ground not covered by fog, so she wouldnt have to get cold feet while waiting for others to show up. She'd be using her wings enough that she was inclined to give them as much rest before the match started as possible

When Touya entered the arena, his gaze turned to him until Kainde asked him about their opponents. "No idea, I've been away from Makai for a long time so I don't exactly know everything about this new generation. But it doesn't matter what element any of them use as long as you kill them before they can show you. But that tower off in the distance has to go. If no one does, I'll take care of it myself."

Kiyoshi blinked in surprise when someone from the opposite team actually called out to him, initiating a conversation. He was glad that he covered over his tattoos for it would be harder to distinguish his moods. An overly strong emotion would show through the dark blue paint he applied, but it suited his purposes for the moment. He returned the greeting with a small, shy wave his way before Kara flew in. He gave a bright smile and a wave when Kara flew in, running circles around him. With the revealed territory beneath the fog, he bit his lip worriedly. Certainly, him, Kara, and Jin would be fine, they could fly. But Touya and Kio couldn't fly and just one wrong step could mean disaster! He blinked when Touya walked in, declaring the arena in their favor. On second feeling, the ground was incredibly cold. Yeah, they could do this! He gave a small wave to Touya, walking over closer to his friends and team mates.And I want a moment to be real,

 I cannot wait to confront him… To feel his throat collapse in my grasp slowly and to see the life drain from his eyes… Takeichi looked at the arena as he arrived, amber eyes scanning the fire spewing device and ice-like steps. He noted Kainde and Augus had arrived ahead of him. Takeichi then turned, noting three members of what he assumed to be Team Shadow Channelers also arrive. The raven demon then took note of Augus staring at Touya, causing him to raise an eyebrow, "I take it you found someone who caught your interest, Augus-senpai?" he questioned, tone showing a bit of interest as he stared at the muscular man.Master… I humbly ask you to wait… For the time when I stand over his broken corpse… and your retribution fulfilled…
