Hey guys! Today I went to my local pet store to buy some bloodworms, and you know, browse the cute fish!
blaugh Anyway, one tank caught my eye! It was a sorority tank filled with females bettas, but one in particular caught my eye... It had long, flowing, fins and was flaring a FULL beard at all the other females. I asked the worker there about it, and she assured me it was a female. I got her to stand there and watch him with me. One elegant blue female approached him, he flared and took a bite out of her tail! The worker then removed him and put him in a appropriate tank. Anyway, I felt so bad for this poor girl! She swam right to the bottom corner and her stress stripes appeared. So I decided to buy her. I have her in my 20g with the guppies right now, until I can get my 30g set up! Here's some pictures of the pretty girl!

She's since brightened up and is quite the pretty girl! She even ate the food I gave her! I just hope her stripes go down
