I always thought that the hookshot was more of a puncturing item more than a blunt object.
So the dude who's girlfriend has the 11 bruises, she just wishes Link would grab her spine with it.
I need to stop posting on Gaia when I'm mad, I just picture horrible things.

Bahaha, nah.
I felt a lot better when I drew my stupid coworker with a hookshot lodged in her spine. I'll feel a gajillion times better when I gtfo my job and move away from home in a couple of months.
