Author: Nicola de Pulford Title of Source: Spells & Charms Spell Name: Perfect Jewel
On a Friday, the day of Venus, and with a waxing moon, dedicate a talisman to keep love with you.
Ingredients: Gemstone or crystal and metal of your choice. A petal from a pink rose or carnation.
The following list may help you with your choice of metal and stones*
Day - Planet - Metal - Color
Sunday - Sun - Gold - Orange Monday - Moon - Silver - White Tuesday - Mars - Iron - Red Wednesday - Mercury - Aluminum - Yellow Thursday - Jupiter - Tin - Purple Friday - Venus - Copper - Blue Saturday - Saturn - Lead - Green
Once you have chosen the appropriate components of your love jewel wait until a Friday during a waxing moon, preferably during the month of your birth, and charge your petal with the moon's blessing. Do this by holding it in your outstretched palms and, in your mind, bringing the the (yes, two the) moon's rays down until they engulf your hands in love. When your jewel is made, the petal should be folded in place between the stone and metal to afford extra power to the talisman. Wear the jewel at all times. ----
* Complaints. Um, why are you giving this huge list of stones and s**t when you told us to do this only on a Friday. That means Copper and Blue.
The Sun is not a ******** planet. It's a star.

Readaption 1.
Instead of using any plant life, use explicitly a metal you like to wear and buy a ring or earrings or a pendant that you'd wear.
*DF CIRCLE TIME*
Then run the metal through the dirt, air, fire, and water. Empower it for love. Wear it until it starts to break down (the metal, so if it gets chipped, time to change it).

Readaption 2. Grab either the whole rose or several petals of the rose. Empower them to become talismans (if several petals, it might be best to make each petal have a particular job in the over hierarchy of the talisman). Then make petal beads and wear them.
