The battle yard is where you will go when you want to learn a lightsaber, weapon, or combat style. Here you will train in the aspects of physical pursuits, and here you may die.
The current Almighty Dark Lord has a no killing policy, anyone who breaks this will be tortured, and then killed.

C had learned new Force powers, although very basic, and was now ready to continue his training. He was determined to gain power in order to bring his own ideals into the universe and help govern society. And, as an Bounty Hunter from Mandalore, a Jedi from Coruscant, and a Sith of Korriban, C had been around every type of society and had learned the ways of them all. He would use his knowledge make a perfect existence. The first step to this, though, would be to get his training from the Sith Lord, Darth Nero.

The Almighty Dark Lord of the Sith walked into the battle yard. The guards bowed down to him, but he motioned for them to stand up. Darth Nero grabbed two training lightsabers off a desk and walked towards Colov. "Colov, take this. I'm not going to teach you using sabers that could kill." He handed the apprentice one of the sabers.

C turned to the Sith Lord and took the saber as it was handed to him. It was a regular shoto with a red power crystal. This was a preferred type of weapon for him. It was shorter than the regular blade of a lightsaber, but it was much easier to maneuver around. A quick series of attacks suited C the best. "So what exactly are we going to focus on, then? Any particular style?"

Darth Nero took a few steps backwards and ignited his lightsaber. "First I will teach you the first form of lightsaber combat, Shii-Cho." He took out his holoprojector and clicked it on. "This form teaches you the basics of lightsaber combat. You must learn this form before you can learn any other."
Lozek slashed his blade horizontally with precision and cleanness. "The first technique you will learn is called Cho Si. I have just demonstrated it to you."

This is the simple act of slashing ones blade at the opponent in a horizontal, vertical, or diagnal direction. It is one of the most commonly used attacks and the basic.

C understood. Of course he would have to work up from the basics before he can truly grow in skill with the lightsaber. Holding his shoto out to his right side, the emitter facing the same way as his back was facing, he would flick on the blade and then change his stance. He would lower his body a bit as he bent over slightly, moving his right leg back and bracing himself to provide decent balance. His arm with the shoto would be brought around and the blade would now be perpendicular to his back, being emitted towards his left side. Now for the strike. C would push his back leg forward as he would swing his right arm around with his shoto and slash horizontally just as Nero had done. It was precise and quick, as expected for a trained assassin.

"Excellent Colov." Darth Nero had watched the Sith Apprentice with joy. He would turn out to be a great assassin. "Now onto the next technique. For this one you will learn how to block a lightsaber." With a grin Lozek rushed towards the Apprentice. "The best way to learn this one is in actual combat. If you don't block my attack, you will be in a world of pain." "I'm going to see great things come from this one."

This is the act of blocking and/ parry with ones blade in order t defend one's self from another's attack. This is the most basic of blocks and the most commonly seen in lightsaber -to- lightsaber combat.

A quick moment was taken to regain composure and for the duo to return to their original positions. C would listen to Nero's instruction for the next technique. Defense was crucial to any fight, so C understood that he needed to learn this move. Nero would rush in towards him. The attack he would send was a thrust to the sternum. It was straightforward and with few openings for a parry. C was a trained fighter, however, and quickly analyzed the strike. With a flick of the wrist and a shifting of footwork, C would perform the technique. He would slide his left foot back and then sweep it around his back to put his sternum out of the trajectory of the attack. As he did this movement, he would, in a way, throw a punch that would be aimed about six inches above Nero's blade, holding his shoto so the blade was facing downward. The blade of C's shoto would collide with Nero's attack and push the thrust away from his body. From here, a quick assassination would be easy. With this, the technique was instantly mastered.

Darth Nero's lightsaber was pushed away from Colov's body and he deactivated it and took a step back. "Good, you're learning quickly." He reached into his robes and took out his holoprojector. "This next technique is something you have to see on this." He handed the assassin the holoprojector, it was playing the next technique over and over again.

This is the forms stance in which the user is standing with his/her weapon close to them with little to known of this body exposed. This stance is to insure that vulnerable areas are not seen or are covered making it more difficult for opponents to attack them. But in thus, leaves the user much more focused on closer range of combat.

C took the holoprojector as the instruction continued on to the next section. The projector showed how a Jedi was approaching a certain stance. It would cover a lot of opening in his previous stance and limit any and all weaknesses in his guard. C would analyze his stance and then hand the holoprojector back to the Sith Lord. He would enter a closed stance, his shoto lifted and guarding his torso. It would be held normally and positioned so that the hilt was near his left should and the blade would span the distance to his right hip. His body would be in a back stance position. This meant that his front foot, in this case it would be his right, would be extended forward and his toes would point forward. He would be putting two-thirds of his wait on his back leg, in this case it would be the left leg, and would angle his toes outward from his body. If he were to bring his feet straight together, he would create an L-formation facing to the left.

Darth Nero put the holoprojector back into his robes. "This is the last skill in this stage of the form, and the last of the skills that I can physically teach you in combat." He grinned sadistically. "The next skill is Sun Djem. You will try to disarm an opponent, by not fear tactics or by grazing them with the tip of your saber. I want to see your take on this technique Colov."

The sun djem was the act of disarming the opponent, the objective usually being not to physically harm him/her unless needed. This was done by slashed at the targets hands, but only just nicking them or stopping near them to cause them to flinch dropping or withdraw their weapon.

C nodded. He knew how to disarm an opponent already, but would go along with this training. The target was obviously the Sith Lord, himself. With a quick push off of his left foot and redirecting himself, he would slide instantly over to the Sith Lord's right side, and C would then shift his own position to be facing his target. With his left hand, he would let loose a powerful strike to the joint at the elbow while he swiped his shoto blade at the Sith Lord's hand position. The blade would collide with the target's blade, but create sparks and intense heat that would likely trigger the reaction to let go. The blow to the elbow would be amplified with a minor force push, brought on by C's personal skill to use this with every strike.

Darth Nero grinned as the Apprentice "succeeded" in disarming him. If he was any other person, than his lightsaber would be out of his hands right now and on the floor. Lozek specialized in lightsaber duels, and do to training in other forms, it would require more effort of the apprentice's part to disarm him. "Good, good. Excellent Colov, you have succeeded in learning the first stage of the first lightsaber form." He put his hand out. "For the next stage you will use a holocron, and your actual lightsaber. If you need assistance, please feel free to call upon me. I will be in here still." He would give the apprentice a holocron when he placed the training sabers back.

As the hooded sith tank walked, sith members even high ranks had bowed at him. Some didn't... They didn't have to though. Evidently some sith members feared his superior strength. Others thought he was just a joke. But those who thought Dethro was a joke still feared him... Becaues he will easily kill them. Friend or Foe, never trust anyone but the Sith Lord. His honor belonged to the sith lord ever since he was taught the way of the dark force. He liked the fact that the sith lord didn't care about his face. Ever since that day, he would be called a disgrace. He could even hear the whispers of the sith apprentices. "It's Dethro... The disgrace" he heard from some sith members. If he had the chance he would kill all of them. Unlucky for Dethro, the sith lord would've stopped him. Maybe get himself killed by the hands of the sith lord. He is just a sith master after all... Nevertheless, he wouldn't stop fighting until he had died or kill the man that seemed to bite his hands that feeds.
He clenched his fists hearing those daring words from the lower ranks and high. But Dethro was in a good mood, so he just let the steam off by doing nothing. Anyway, he would deal with it later, not in front of most members of the sith. Lets cut to the chase, Dethro came here to observe the new member of the sith. The sith apprentice looked more like a speedy character but then again is weak. The sith is greatly known for power. Every sith has something they want to do to get in the Jedi's way. Famous slogan that Dethro likes is the term "Kill or be Killed". He believes that the jedi are overpowered.
The sith master bowed towards the sith lord. "My lord..." he said. His voice sounded like a true sith master. A master that hates everything ofcourse. The only thing Dethro likes was killing, and only killing. He didn't like watching people suffer. It's a sign of weakness. He'd rather kill them then watching them fear Dethro. Weakness is not an option. He then stood up watching the apprentice's technique. Fast but bad posture. Dethro just watched awaiting for what the sith lord would say.
Watching the apprentice reminded him of the past. Dethro was mister perfect. Everything he does, he seemed to do it great. He was a top student. Whenever someone dared to fight him during academy, he would always win. Always throw the first punch, you will win 75% chance. It depends on how you fight and how you fight strongly. If the sith lord didn't have anything to do with Dethro, he would just stay here and practice his double bladed technique. He wanted to master it so he can defeat the jedis with this devastating technique he would save up for the jedis. After all, he made a promise to kill every jedi and won't stop until they are extinct.

Vienna walked through the halls of the massive Sith Temple, she saw in the distance Dethro walk through where she was headed. She wanted to kill those whom bowed their heads to them...they were slaves...this disgusted her to the upmost. She wouldn't stop as she walked, she knew if she showed any kind of weakness that the other Padawan would strike her down or doubt her. Her head spun as she looked at all the Sith bowing to him 'Kill them...their just like on Kamino...puppets...' She ran her fingers through her hair and continued to walk, she had better things to do then demean herself fighting the maggots. She entered the room and leaned against the wall, she saw the Lord standing there with a apprentice. She knew better then to interrupt something that she had no business being in. She would bide her time...
