So I finally got a doctor to say yes. I'm 20 too so it was pretty lucky. My appointment is scheduled for the 4th of May. I'm so excited!

I'm not sure. She was pretty awesome and didn't really bingo me or anything and even said she sees a lot of people who shouldn't be having kids that do. She did comment that I seemed very adamant about it. Perhaps its also in the way you 'ask' I made it clear that this is what I wanted and I didn't want to go with any alternatives such as an IUD

I don't know, she part of North Florida OBGYN group so I'm not sure she has a lot of colleagues that deal with men at all.

It all went pretty well. I don't even remember them knocking me out. They took me in the O.R. and had me switch gurneys then I got situated where they wanted me to lay and next thing I know I'm waking up in recovery. Felt drunk for a while. They had to catheterize me so they wouldn't take the IV out until I had gone to the bathroom so it took me a little bit to want to get up and I got nauseous. One of the nurses waved an alcohol pad under my nose those and it went away which was kind of weird and neat. I felt drunk for a few hours mostly just when I turned my head itd hit me but I was propped up watching Jurassic Park on Blu Ray and before it was over my head was clear and I was starting to get sore. It looks pretty gruesome. The doc showed pics of my insides to my boyfriend and mom, hopefully I'll get to see them when I go to my follow up. Only have one incision at my belly button. I have Percocet and 800 mg ibuprofen to take.



I only saw my doc for a few minutes a couple times so I didn't get to ask her about if she knew anyone who would do vasectomies
