 Spring was a wonderful season, everyday got warmer the green of fresh leaves and grass couldn't be matched and the sky always seemed particularly blue in comparison. Sliver smiled to himself as he made his way down the treeline bordering a large expanse of fields. The winter he found could often force him to settle in one spot and wait it out, spring was a welcome relief where he could once again move around as he pleased. He wasn't sure where he was at the moment, this particular area was new to him, it was refreshing. He slowed his pace drinking in the soft rolling hills to his left pausing for a moment and then turning towards the open plains. He padded his way amiably to the crest of one of the higher portions of ground, before everything sloped down and away from the forest and sat down. It wasn't a bad view, the grass that whispered softly in the wind around him was familiar, the sight was familiar. It was almost like he was back in the plain he grew up on. He flicked an ear as a bug flew past, but otherwise paid it no mind, he let himself drift in thoughts of his childhood, smiling at the memories of his sister as his eyes took in the brilliant spring colors in front of him. The afternoon sun warmed his dark coat and lit up the hills as he sat. 8D hope thats acceptable x3

 She remembered the day that her best friend, Banavalido, had left her to continue his exploration of the lands. One day he'll return. Just one day. That was abut all she lived for now. Waiting for his return. They weren't mates or anything, but she was an unsociable one who only trusted a few. Maybe his departure would allow herself to get to know others. That was, if she was daring to.
Awakening from her daily nap, she left the security of her den to be greeted by the warm rays of the sun up above with the sounds of creatures moving around. She yawned, still half asleep, but walked forth to the pool of water that she was so accustomed to. Everything around here looked the same to her, but she knew that everyday was different. Finishing her drink, she begun to stalk the bugs in the grasses.Sure is!(:

He sat there for some time before his attention drifted back to the present actually acknowledging his surroundings. The slope across from him rolled down to the left and at its bottom, partially obscured, he could see a bright glare that could only be the sun reflecting off water. The stream continued along and Sliver glanced at it uneasily he had never liked water...but small marshes and streams like this were nothing. They were necessary in fact, he couldn't sate his thirst from puddles and dew after all. Movement caught his eye, a dark shape in the grass a deep blue color that was out of place. It took a moment of staring to recognize that it was another carousel from this distance he couldn't make out too much. He frowned unsure if he wanted to move. For now he contented himself with watching the stranger quietly and wondering if they knew he was around.

Not even having the slightest clue of another Carousel around, she continued her little game of attempting to catch a bug. She wasn't really intending to catch any, just that she enjoyed seeing them scatter around. It brought a joy in her that she was not alone. Hot on the chase of one odd looking one, she eventually tripped on a root and lost her footing.
Getting up, she lost track of her bugs. Drat! Now i have to find something else to do! Maybe, maybe make inventory of the herbs again? The Carousel bounded towards the top of the slope to see a dark figure. Squinting, she saw that it had the form of Tyskmoskye. It was a fox. She froze, staring, not knoing what to do. After observing for a while, she dropped to an immediate crouch and growled. It wasn't much, but hopefully this stranger would understand that she would attack if he dared to damage her homeland.

Sliver watched the stranger wit growing bewilderment as she chased...nothing. He didn't understand this was she perhaps deranged? Or was there actually something there. He watched a little longer before another memory came flitting through his head. Insects. Right that would make more sense. Was this stranger really that young though? Or perhaps just childlike? He smiled lightly, perhaps that was the case he thought as the stranger slipped and tumbled to the ground. He stiffened slightly when he was noticed, he had almost begun to feel like he wasn't even there, simply a shadow on the wind. But alas, this was reality not a memory. He watched her crouch threateningly and debated with himself for a moment, he COULD just turn around and leave...but he had no desire to go back the way he had come and it had been awhile since anything interesting had happened.Besides he wasn't too concerned after observing the strangers previous behavior. He stood stretching before he began to able down the hillside toward her at a slow measured pace.

The stranger looked like he was not here for a fight. Just like he was just wandering the lands. How strange. Not many have passed by and those who have just wanted control of her hills. She had grown up on these grasses and everything here was home to her. I'll fight to my death to save this place.
Confused, she stood where she was waiting for the stranger to reach her. It was just like seeing her dad return after his long journeys around the world. Her father was now dead to her. Was the stranger here to make her relive one of her most cherished moments? Without any hesitation, she casually approached the stranger until they were a good distance from one another.

Cyren of the Sea So it had been a show. Sliver closed his eyes momentarily in satisfaction sizing her up as he moved closer, when he felt he was close enough he slowed his pace further. "Greetings" He called softly, voice purring gently over the wind. He came to a slow stop perhaps four lengths from her sizing her up. "I do hope I'm not intruding, do you greet all strangers with such a show? Or do I appear threatening to you?" He asked a teasing glimmer in his eye as he sat down neatly tucking his tail alongside his paws turning his golden gaze to the stranger in front of him, curiosity brimming. sorry for the wait OTL

She continued staring at him, unsure of what to say. Should she just tell the truth? That was what she decided to do. "No silly." she retorted. "I was trying to catch a bug until I noticed you here...." she frowned staring away, realizing that she was staring at the stranger the entire time. How embarrassing. "...and thought that you would be here to try to take away my homelands. It is all that I have as my own now, after all."
Looking back at him, she smiled like how she did to whom she would call an acquaintance. "Enough of that. I'm Aki, and you must be.. oh wait. I don't recall a name?"

Sliver smiled, not bothering to hide the amusement at her comment, chasing bugs? Well to each their own, she was rather young then? He kept his gaze on her placidly only looking away when she mentioned her homelands, eyeing the surroundings. A home huh...he didn't know any permanent residency any more but he supposed that this wasn't a bad pice of territory all things considered. His attention flitted back to her as she spoke, smiling in turn when she did. It wasn't hard to get people to like him, usually anyways.
"Ah my apologies, I am Sliver." He said as he inclined his head to her. " I assure you miss Aki I am not here to pose a threat to your territory, possession does not interest me." He fixed his stare on her again a calm smile and gentle eyes affixed on his face for now.

"You don't have to call me 'miss' Sliver." she giggled at the idea of someone being formal around her though. This made her think more. Was Sliver raised in a high classed family or something? Maybe he was just trying to place a good impression on her since they just met?
Finally she could relax. Laying down on the grass looking up at him brought her joy once again. He was not one who would probably stay since he did not believe in owning anything, but at least she was finally not alone in this meadow of hills and bugs.
