I would like to present a few rules for governing Energy and their interaction with each other, since we really dont have any Guidlines for them all. So heres what i have to suggest. For taking effect at the beginning of the next Quest.
1. Shadow(Dark) Vs. Light
a. Shadow and light are of equal power, But, Their weakness to each other are equal, So, they remove each other at an equal rate.
b. Shadow cannot exist where light exists, and Light cannot exist where there is shadow.
c. If an object is made of shadow or light, it cannot effect an object that is not made of shadow or light. This doesn't effect Attacks that use these energies, just objects made of them... Exmpl - If lilwolf turns into a shadow he cannot punch/kick me and hurt me, i would have to be made of light or dark.... which i am not...
2. Gravity
a. Gravity is not an Energy, but a natural force, And thus it is not absorbable as an energy nor is it effected by things that effect energy.
b. Gravity is not Charged, it is Gathered, and all things emit a gravity.
c. Although Gravity is not an Energy, it follows the same rules as energy does, and same for charging.
3. Fire Vs. Ice(water)
Fire and Ice, just as with Shadow and light, Are equal in their strength against, and weakness to each other. Thus, the only way to determine stronger, is by a greater number of Charges in the attack.

AS an Addendum, The secrets of Gravity energy are many, and unexplained, and such knowledge is only had by those of great skill in Gravity Manipulation (Pretty much just Vaako and Ranma).
Vaako was not only Born with a natural Disposition to be able to use and Cast Gravity attacks, but was also Trained and schooled to gain great understanding of the workings of Gravity and Physics...
Such knowledge would allow a person to better manipulate, and defend against such attacks.
I would Consult Kuni about if first, but i would assume, all Forms of energy would have a knowledge base to go along wiht them, that not only would increase you effectiveness in that art, but also your abiility to defend against such attacks.
as an example: Holy or Light Magic, would be more effective if used by a person of the Faith, Such as Priests or Clerics, or at leas one that was trained as one.
Just as if Dark Magic wold be more effective in the hands of Great Evil.
Ask Kuni, I'm sure he can make some suggestions.

As an additional Addendum, on Gravity
2.d Gravity Energy, though it is not effected similarly to other energies, it is still "detectable", and "senseable" by effects that detect or sense energy.
Just as a Clarification, Gravity energy as Charged, is held (or Stored) like an energy, and May be effected by things that effect other energies(such as drains, absorptions, or checks for energy) , BUT, once used, it becomes true gravity, and as such, is not an elemental force (like ice or Fire) And so is no longer an energy.
Example,: Ranma preforms an attack that drains all energy from an area.
Lilwolf and Vaako are performing attacks, Lilwolf is Using a Fireball, and Vaako, using a Gravity Bomb.
Lilwolfs attack would be null, But Vaako's Gravity bomb is already fired, and is not absorbable, since it's Gravity.
OR
Vaako and Ranma are Charging attacks, and Kuni uses a technique that drains all energy from people. If Ranma were Charging for a Hiroshoutenha Revised Horozontal Attack, and Vaako charging for an Implosion Bomb (Gravity attack) Then both would be absorbed, since the Gravity is in a "Raw Energy State"
