"Hello, I am Professor Athena Browles. Here are a few things about my class:
Rules
"to save time, I, Notsalony, head person of this guild thingy, have all ready approved this thread, NO THREAD JACKING. You thread jackers know who you are."
All years are welcome, and there are no specific class times .
Follow rules of Gaia and the Guild.
This is NOT an OOC, so stay as you are, in character.
Questions welcome, and I will give out Housepoints.
I take them away if:
You do not pay attention.
You leave without pardon.
You harm another student.
You run your mouth or disrespect me or anyone else during my class.
Expect lots of homework!!!!!

We didn't come here to actually learn anything except about other people....)) Shura walked in the class room with Rhadamanthys, "Now just sit here and don't cause any trouble." "Yeah yeah, I hear you!" He pulled up a chair next to her desk, glad to finally be out of the common room.

"Good day, class. I was expecting better attendance, but oh well. Today we will learn the Ancient Greek Story of Creation." Professor Browles said rather sharply. "In the beginning there was only Chaos, a vast, dark, unformed ferment.But in Chaos existed all the elements necessary for the formation of earth and of man. Out of this ocean of tumbled forces appeared Gaea, the Mother Earth. Her first act was to divide the sea from the land, partly because she could not find any land on which to rest. Two seperate versions of the next part of the story emerge. The first recounts how Gaea, as she rested from her recent efforts,was smiled kindly upon by Chaos. he caused the rains to fall on her resting body, which created all hills and valleys, springs and watercourses, the woods and forests, and even the animals and beasts which populated the earth. The other version credits Gaea with giving birth to the Universal Egg after first being fertilized by Boreas, the North Wind. Within this egg were all the elements of creation- the moon and sun, mountains, rivers, forests deserts, seas and oceans, and all living beings. Then Gaea gave birth to a son called Uranus. Next class, we will study the life and downfall of Uranus. Now, I am now answering questions. If there are none, I will begin to assign your homework."

Amy raised her hand. "Professor....Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't Ocean Gaia's son, for he is a Titan? And Ouranos was her husband. Their children were the Titans, the Cyclops, and many other monsters that Ouranos hid in the bowels of the earth because of their loathsomeness."
((I aced Greek Mythology every year I've taken it, and this year is my 7th))

1. Who was Gaea??
2. What was Chaos???
3. What were the two versions??
4. What is your belief on the matter??
