The things that only oldbies/veterans of Gaia can do are pretty awesome.
Like;-knowing the names of items even if you haven't seen them in years
-knowing exactly how to look up something because you know what it is, due to being on the site for so long, even if you haven't seen it and don't know what the name is
-being able to ninja around spots that are down in the site
-knowing how to find out what you want to know even if the newest forms of information have bugs
-having the tendency to look more awesome than others due to years of practice
-being able to use old items on tektek because you know what that color will look like with the avatar that you are creating even if it is put in the wrong color category(like red is in brown, green is in blue, etc.)
-being able to use old hair like a boss

Loving the fact that oldies have a lot of advantages that the newcomers dont. lol
The "wearing starters to look cool" and "wearing old hair" sounds so inspiring, I might just actually do that. xD;; I am getting tired of buying new things just so I can make my avatar look cool. So I'm just going to go derp and make it looks freaking amazing.
Doesn't matter how ugly it would be, because I'll like it. o uo

That was pretty much it. xd We did not get anything, other than the tattered cloths in our inventories. I do nto wear old hair and starter cloths.. But, I do not consider myself very cool. xd Just be who you wanna be! Don't change you're look to appease others. Do it because YOU want to! (Cheesey "believe in yourself" music plays here)

I used to wear a bunch of starter clothes and old hairdo's. I mixed them up with my fancy items and I looked pretty awesome in them. Not saying I've never done that before, I just mean that I should try another style like that again and have fun with it. x3

Rosie Fayce Yeah, I figured that. When my cousin introduced me to Gaia, I really didn't plan on joining because it seemed very, well.... dense. It wasn't until years later I've finally decided to join Gaia, seeing that it has changed. It wasn't as great, but it still kept me on. Even though old gaian's didn't have much back then, they sure do have quite some advantages now, once you think about it. Then again, people who are old here don't seem to like the new people who join, which is kind of sad. Just because people are new or look noobish, doesn't mean we can treat them any less, you know? :/ I guess the sad part is that there are people who would usually talk to people of their own class just so they wouldn't deal with greedy Gaians. Most of them aren't really like that, too. But hey, it's a matter of instinct, right?

But, if you where not, then you are kinda screwed. sweatdrop And, I do not dislike new people for not having nice items. Personally, I made friends with Gaian's that started that day. I do not like most of the newer people, because they tend to kiss a** and try to get items from you. All of the people that tried that from me where from 09, and sooner. Only one person I know from 08, and earlier, acted that way towards me. I tend to get WAY too many people who suck up, just to have free stuff. DX Yeah, that sounds like a plan. xd I changed my hair 4 times out of all of the years that I have been on gaia.. Yet, I do not believe anyone has seen my hair in many years. O.o I am glad that someone thinks so. xd

Rosie Fayce Haha, okay. xD Well, I have quite a few friends who are new, they never really asked for anything. I'm glad they don't, because they seem so nice. Maybe it's just me? I don't know, I don't see a lot of newbies to begin with, anyway. I'm usually away from society like that, I tend to be very anti-social. o uo I'm usually in specific places, maybe in areas where you don't usually see newcomers. I wouldn't know, I tend to get lost, anyway. People suck up to you? D; Pfff. I don't think I ever get that treatment, maybe it's my clothes? Do I smell, or something? hahaha.

I can understand that, I am a very social butterfly. xd I enjoy so much that goes on around me, and all of the people in my life.
