Anyone else read this? I picked it up, as it was well recommended in several places, and I thought it sounded interesting, but so far (and admittedly I've not gotten all that far into it), it's kind of boring. Which is kind of odd, because the reviews I read were all about how exciting it was.
It's a huge book though (like close to 800 pages), so just wondering if anyone else has read it, and if it's worth plowing on... because it will eventually get better, or if I should just give it up as a lost cause?

Wow... finally finished it. Think this is the longest it's ever taken me to read a book (well at least a fiction book, there are several non-fiction that I'm still meandering through).
Not bad overall, but still kind of like with Game of Thrones, it's like... get it over with already. I liked it well enough, but not 800 pages well enough. xd
Still an awesome book to recommend to those who are all like - "I like Fairies, I want to play with them." Great example of why that is a very bad idea. 3nodding
