I'd like to think I'm a pretty big fan, but I've never been one to get into music because of a fandom. This includes movies and anime, too. I've never gotten into theme songs and stuff like other people have.

MzPickles I really like instrumental music when I'm drawing and writing. So, I have thought about just listening to the albums while on bandcamp while I'm doing the art thing. But, honestly, I keep finding all this other music I want to listen to first. . /// .

There are just a few rare ones where it's entirely lyrical.
I agree. I can't really sit down and enjoy a Zimmerman soundtrack album..
I really like BBC Sherlock, but I can't listen to the soundtrack.
I have no idea, but most soundtracks annoy me.
But a few movies that made me want to find the OSTs are like Paprika.

As a violin player, I have to say I simply love Symphony Impossible to Play.
It's just charming, and I think it really just fits. It's grand. 0 w 0
It really makes me miss the orchestra. {Had to drop out because of reasons, sob.} But oh, man, it's just lovely~
the rest of the pieces are also lovely, but the Symphony is definately my favorite.

I've always wanted to learn the violin and have had a couple of short attempts. However, my skills lie mostly with the piano. Although, I have been trying to teach myself the ukelele! ♥
