Given as a parting gift by her nomadic companion who had the ability to put life into inanimate objects, were three dolls.
Verdandi- The kindly doll who looks after the house and keeps Aria under control. She's polite, until something annoys her--then she turns into a banshee armed with insults. Has the ability to tell things about people, and purify.
Aria- A child-like doll who can be rather spoiled, and loves to play games. She's cheerful, and very inquisitive about things. Helps with the cooking and laundry, and has the ability to boost psi-abilities temporarily.
Sephiria- The elegant doll who acts like a queen. She's silent and tends to read a lot, the calm one of the group. Sephie seems to only know the emotions of anger, irritation, and aloofness... At times will warn of possible danger in the future. Helps with inventing, inventory, and guarding, and has the ability to bind, fix, or dispel.

Fyera entered the gate to her home and stretched, waiting for Rain to enter before closing it. The house before them was a simple two-story, but it was big enough for at least 6 people to live in... It was protected with a barrier and had a somewhat peaceful air to it.
She smiled at her temporary home and then proceeded to the wooden front door, which had an elaborate rose carved into it. Touching that rose, the door responded to her touch and slowly swung open...
The hydromaster then popped her head inside and announced, "Aven seri!" at the empty hallway.
A small doll in pink clothes and bright eyes did the same from a room to the side, and laughed cheerfully, "Atharimo-naya!!"
Another doll followed her, dressed in a long forest green dress. She bowed and smiled politely, "Athari seri, Fyera-ako."
"Athaluse Aria, Verdandi."
Fyera stepped in and took her shoes off, opening the door wider so that Rain could get in.

Rain was amazed at how beautiful the house was and even more amazed at the living dolls. "Wow...." was the only thing the hydromaster could bring herself to say. "What is it that you said to them, Fyera?" she asked looking at all three dolls with her lavander eyes.

The girl smiled at her and replied with, "I just said, 'I'm home' and 'Hello', and they replied with 'Welcome back'."
She swept a hand at the room to the side and motioned for Rain to enter it, "Please wait there for a moment, and I'll go prepare your room. It's the living room, and the kitchen is right next to it. Help yourself to any food! Ah, and please take off your shoes before entering, Verdandi doesn't want dirt on the floor."
Fyera clapped her hands together, wondering what she was forgetting before snapping her fingers, "Oh yeah!" Pointing a hand at the doll in a green dress, she introduced her as Verdandi. Waving it next to the one in a pink dress, Fyera said she was Aria.
"There's one more doll who's probably sitting on the couch, she's Sephiria...and don't mind if she ignores you."
Verdandi, who had been patiently waiting for the girl to finish, then spoke up, "Oh? Do we have a guest? Then I'll go make refreshments." Bowing to both Rain and Fyera, the doll walked back into the room.
Aria, the doll who remained, giggled and skipped up to Rain, tugging at the rim of her dress, "Athari, athari-naya! Follow me!"

Rain quickly took care of slipping off her sandles and allowing Aria to drag her off. The house was simply splendid looking at the dolls seemed so nice. She wondered hoe Fyera came across such wonderful dolls.

Aria dragged her off to navy blue armchair that was a little to the side of the main couch. In front of the main couch and armchair, was a low, waxed, birch table which was covered with an elaborate tablecloth. The only other decoration, was a simple vase filled with fresh red roses on the center of the table. It was noticeable that the child-like doll avoided going near the main couch, and instead dragged the woman around the other side of the table to get to the chair.
That was because, sitting on the main couch, was a stern-looking doll in a crimson outfit. She was reading a novel with no apparent title, and paid them little notice.
Behind them, in the kitchen, Verdandi stood on a stool, placing a tea pot on a silver platter. Various wafers were placed in a small bowl for snacks, and 5 teacups were neatly lined up along the edge of the square platter. She lifted it up carefully, and then made her way down a small staircase before calling Aria over, "Aria! Please help me carry this over!"

Standing in one of the guest rooms upstairs, Fyera dusted off the queen-sized bed and then covered it with a simple, royal blue bedspread.

Rain took the offered seat with a smile and gazed over at the mysterious doll. That must be Sephiria, the doll Fyera was talking about. I hope we can become good friends.

Aria skipped happily over to the kitchen and helped Verdandi carry the platter over. They set it gently on the table, and then sat down on the opposite side of the table in front of the main couch. Verdandi had pulled over a small wooden chair to sit on, while Aria just squatted down on a pillow.
Sephiria flipped a page quietly, and then slipped a bookmark into the novel, shutting it and placing it beside her. The doll then clasped her hands elegantly on her lap, and glanced at each of them with a disapproving air. Looking towards Rain, she flatly stated, "This is your first day here. You lived with an elderly woman before coming here, and as of now, you are 17 years old."
Aria cocked her head to the side with a puzzled smile, and Verdandi merely turned to the side to cough politely into her hand... ---
Finished dusting the room and making it quaint enough to live in, the girl stretched and began making her way to the stairs.

"Yes, that is correct. You are Sephiria, no?" The hydromaster asked simply with a bright smile on her face.

"Pour the tea, Miss Rain. It is your duty as of now." Sephiria fixed her with stern eyes and waved a hand at the teapot.
The other two dolls remained silent, not wanting to anger the regal doll.
Fyera just continued making her way down the stairs, feeling too lazy to just rush to the bottom.

"I understand, please excuse my ignorance though, I'm not used to being a guest at other people's houses." Rain bowed her head politely and took the tea pot and poured a glass for each of them while wondering if dolls could drink tea. The hydromaster set the pot down gingerly and turned her head to the sound of footsteps coming from the stairs.

"Guest? As long as you stay under this roof, you are my servant." The regal doll took the teacup handed to her by Verdandi, and sipped it, narrowing her eyes into the water.
"Verdandi, you let the tea leaves sit too long. It is suitable for my tastes though."
Politely bowing her head, the green-clad doll sipped her own teacup and started reaching for a wafer. On the other hand, Aria went for the wafers first, and threw one at Sephiria's head.
It hit the doll's bonnet and slid off, making her tremble in anger at the crumbs. She sharply reprimanded the child by saying, "Aria! That is unladylike! Behave yourself!" Immediately afterwards, the crimson-clad doll pointed a finger at a wafer, made it rise up into the air, and down onto Aria's head.
"There, that should teach you a lesson."
Aria simply pouted.
Fyera swept into the room, sitting down beside Sephiria with a tired sigh.
"Jeez...are you guys fighting again?"
Turning to look at Rain, she sat up and smiled, "I hope you're enjoying your stay, and hopefully the dolls aren't giving you too much of a hard time. The room upstairs is ready if you wish to retire."

Rain took Aria's hand and brought her infront of her chair. She proceeded to clean the crumbs out of the dolls hair while smiling over to Fyera. "Yes, I am and your dolls have been all but wonderful to me!" The fact that Sephiria didn't take well to Rain, didn't seem to bother her at all. She was determined to make friends with Sephiria even if it killed her.
The brunette finished getting all the crumbs out of the Aria's hair and smiled at the doll. Rain stood and bowed politely, "Yes, I think I would like to retire. Thank you very much for letting me stay with you."

"Somehow I doubt that, but no problem! I have plenty of room here, and your room is at the end of the hall upstairs. Just turn left, past three doors on the right, and the fourth door is yours. There's a bathroom connected to it, and if you need any spare clothes, just ask."
The girl took a cup of tea and absently heated the water before taking a sip. She smiled at the woman and Aria, before suggesting, "Maybe Aria can lead you there, she likes nice people."
Verdandi nibbled on a wafer and glanced at the clock on the mantlepiece, noticing that it was 15 till 9:00. She finished the wafer, and dusted herself off before standing.
"Well, I'm off to bed, chaha meko everyone. Have a pleasant rest in your new home, Miss Rain." The doll added, bowing to her before heading towards Fyera's room.
Sephiria set her teacup down and leapt off the couch, turning up to the girl who sat next to her, "Fyera, pick me up."
Fyera obliged, holding her in a position where she was comfortable and sitting, facing forward.
"Very good, Fyera. Now take me to my bed, please."
"You're lazy, jeez...and isn't it a suitcase?"
And so, the Hydromaster was slapped with one of the doll's ponytails.
"...I could just leave you down here, ya know."
"Let us be going, Fyera."
"Hati, hati..."
They began heading for the stairs again...
