Just landed my self with 2 Angelfish, a female Pearl Gourami and a male Gold Gourami. The Angels are in rough shape. They were housed with all the wrong fish (African Cichlids mainly, but really that Gold was the main issue. He's mean!). They've got extensive fin damage and rot, possibly some fungus, the larger of the two has a screwed up eye... The smaller of the two is missing like half his fins from rot and them being nipped at. They both look pathetic.








The Pearl is healthy other than being super fat. I dunno if she's egg bound, has the start of dropsy, is just a fatty, or what. She's really cool, though. Pearls are my favorite of the Gourami's.




The Gold Gourami, well... He's in solitary confinement. He's so dang aggressive that I just can't bring my self to put him in my main tank (only a 20 long, btw...). So, the poor dude's been put into a 3 gallon tank until I can either give him to the LFS, or find someone who will take him.






And, with no room for QT, I've had to put the Angels and the Pearl straight into my 20 long, which is already fully stocked, with the other fish, and I've dosed the tank with Kordon Rid-Ich Plus. Taking no chances!! It treats for just about everything. Fin damage and rot, fungus, and parasites.

All I've got right now is freshwater lol I wish I had the time/money to do salt, though, or even just brackish. We love pics here smile

I'm in FL too. 'Bout 3 hours south-ish of Orlanda smile I have some natives (Least Killifish, Swamp Darters and Sailfin Mollies), as well. Its much more fun (and cheaper XD) to catch your own fish than it is to buy them lol
