Who did you think was really cowardly from the books? And don't say Harry because I think he was really brave.
The Cowardly: Ron Neville Draco

I agree with you...
Neville is just cowardice personified (although he manage to keep a fight at the MoM... didn't do great, but it's a biginning).
Draco is a whiny brat.
And Ron, well he's just Ron.

i agree with you on peter and draco but not on the others
Dumbledore had his reasons to be afraid (that Voldemort would use Harry more)
Ron has his moments! hes just stupid
Neville isnt a true coward (not like Petter Pettigrew is) but hasnt been able to do magic (and everybody has reasons of being afraid of Snape XP.. I mean... hes Snape.. )

none of you are looking beyond the surface. Sure draco uses his power to hide behind, but he probably is twisted around his parents fingers, acting like their little marionette. Its not his fault.
Ron? RON ISNT A COWARD. He might be scared of things, but being scared and being a coward arent the same. He has stuck by harry and helped him along the way since the very beginning. That is brave, since he knows that Harry is constantly chased by Voldemort. And the "follow the spiders" part? he is SCARED of spiders, but he ignores that, and goes along, BRAVELY.
Neville has gone through a lot of tough s**t. Its enough to make anyone scared of a lot. But beyond that, he is brave enough to live normally with the fact that his parents dont remember him. He knows they were tortured and yet, he is still going on with his life and living it normally. That takes a LOT of bravery. Plus the fifth book? duuuh?

If you wanna say how brave they are please go to the BRAVE thread. And being scared is being cowardly. Thats that.

I appolizge in advance for any long and complcated words I may use - I just got out of my SAT prep class. Harry's deeds do not come from bravery but a need to feel wanted and loved. He will do anything to get attation from others, a behavoir that must come from not having a loving family. He is the quintessence of stupidity and blind obedence. I'm sorry but I must disagree with most everyone but I firmly belive that Harry Potter is one of the most craven heros I have read about in a long time.

Actually if you read the books and pay attention to his point of view, he doesn't want to be noticed. Things he does he does for himself and nobody else. But whatever you say Slyerclaw. LMAO!
