Well, Sunday we got 4 baby rats, which brings the population to 6, they were supposed to all be females, but my little one is a male. I am going to take him away from the girls Thursday (I would do it now, but I dont have a water bottle for him) I think hes (and they) a little too young to breed though, since the people wean at 3 weeks (I didnt know that when I bought them) so I think it will be ok till Thursday, however, I am planning to get him neutered in a few weeks, I want to let him get a bit bigger and stronger. So my question is, has anyone ever introduced a male rat that has been neutered to females? and if so how did it go? I dont want him to get so big it makes the introductions hard, which is why I am not waiting a few months, that and I dont want him alone that long.
