What are your opinions/feelings to Gaians who wear these awe-inspiring items (MCs, Event items, etc) from the 2003-04?

I think that they are whomever they are. I do not believe it is the items that make the Gaian, but the personality.
That, and if I said that everyone with old MC's are stuck up, or, something like that. We all know that is TOTALLY NOT TRUE! And, if they act that way, it is probably because they get bugged for their items often. -_-;; (I know it happens to me often)

Funny story.
I witnessed a girl in Avatar Talk get shredded for not wearing any new items.
By several different people in a row.
I suppose new items are... smoother... but it was totally uncalled for.
I don't understand the old vs. new item argument.

But more in the direction of your topic, I love running into people that still have the old MCs.
I wish I would have kept my old stuff. >.<;"

Some people treat you differently when you use one or more of the 2003-2004 Mc's, they either treat you like you are normal and they don't really care either, overly nice or like you are why Gaia "sucks" for them or something along those lines, it really depends on the person.
I don't really care about how expensive items are or if people use them, I know I only use my older items because I have them. I have a bunch of old Mc's and I find it's getting harder to use them in a nice avatar with all the newer items, they just don't flow well or they look out of place some times.

idk i think it was a lot harder to make a good outfit with just older items. now its like they actually complete newer item involved looks.

Something happened to me that was kind of like that. sweatdrop I was in towns a while ago, and just talking to a group of people about superheroes. All I said was, "I love Batman! He is my fav." And it set some girl off on me about Tony Stark. O.o I have no idea why, until she said, "Oh, look at me! I have an OMG and a Devil Tail! Everyone agree with me!" When I just said that it was cool she liked him more. sweatdrop Made no sense. I think she was just looking to attack someone for no reason. Then again, I felt like those people where only hanging around me, because of my items as well. sweatdrop

I also find it hard to make good outfits that match with older items. It is like their coloring is a tad off. *Points at Devil Tail* It seems to be an off-black/brown to me, so I find it hard to match with certain black items.

I agree with you on that. I find that people are treated a bit differently, just because of their items. But I do find that it is more from one extream to another. I agree with you on the usage of the items as well. It gets harder and harder to match certain items. I find that I have to match 03-04 items with eachother in order to make them match at all. *Ex AFK/Anklets/Laurels*

The old items are pretty awesome but I'm glad I don't have them. sweatdrop
I'd prob end up being banned for cussing some poor person out for begging.
I just see some of the old timers getting harassed and it makes me not want awesome items like the d-tail and horns cause I'd kill someone.

I have mixed feelings.
On one hand, I'm really happy to see an older member still active on Gaia. On the other, I feel sad that I didn't join a few years earlier hahha
