"Such lovely is the season, where the world can be as beautiful as I am" Nymph stood in an enchanting glade, admiring his own reflection in a pond. He found himself to be extra handsome today, with all the flowers around. At this time of year, he was quite possibly even more selfcentered than usual. There was but one problem he could see. "Where are all the fine ladies?"
What was the point of looking this good, when there was no one around to compliment him? With a frown, he looked around him. He had already tried flirting with the flowers, but they gave very little response. Bored as he was, he set out into the forest. Perhaps there he'd meet a lovely lass? Though, he felt he was a lot more charming in the light of the glade...

Sherwood wound his way through the bright emerald grasses. His silver-grey eyes looked at the landscape around himself as he slipped through the green blades without disturbing them. Today was a glorious day to be out and about exploring. He loved the forest, and all the berries that grew out in nature.

Nymph entered the forest with caution. For even though the day was bright, it would turn a lot darker if he went too deep. And in the dark, who could enjoy his pretty face? At least that's what he told himself, for he didn't want to admit being a bit frightened. Who knows what might lurk in the dark?
So he stayed in the outskirts of the forest, going around in a great big circle, just to find some ladies. Where were they all? Could they not feel his enchanting scent? He was getting quite bored with walking, even if it was good for his figure. And very tired of being alone... "H-hello? Is there anyone out there?" For a moment, he thought he heard something move in the grass. With a mighty gasp, he and hid behind a tree, like the brave warrior he was. And oh so fearlessly, he called out. "I-i-it's awfully rude t-to sneak around like this!"

Sherwood loved the forest, almost as much as he loved playing games with the hapless wanderers who entered it. He began to slink toward said hapless antlered victim, with all the grace he could muster.

Nymph was growing more and more certain that there was indeed someone in the woods with him. Someone very close... "Hey, y-y-you shouldn't h-hide your pretty face like th-that!" He may have been good at acting like a brave knight on a noble steed, but when it really came to it, he was no more than a mere chicken. And the thought of a hostile and brute warrior scared him like no other. Not in the face was the only thought that crossed his mind, over and over again. Please, not in the face...

Slinking low to the ground, Sherwood snuck up on the frightened fellow. He waited for a breath, then popped out of the grass directly in front of the other, front paws spread wide like he was pouncing as he shouted, "Boo!"

Nymph fell backwards in surprise, straight into a bush. Once the shock lay down, the anger came. Who would do such a thing!?
"ARE YOU INSANE!? Look at my fur! LOOK AT IT! Now it's all ruffled and messy and... not good! FOR. SHAME."
With a pout, he settled down on a rock to undo the damage, regaining his oh so stunning looks. Every so often, he'd turn his head to give the other a sour look. This is NOT acceptable behaviour. Where are his mannerisms?

The fox grinned and twitched his tail. "Why's your fur so important? You wandered into a forest, you should expect it to get dirty." Sherwood tried to point out. Of course he was just busy grinning at his poor victim.

That witty little remark didn't amuse him one bit. "Only those of low standards should ever expect such a thing as filth. The forest is a beautiful landscape, not a puddle of mud. Though, I somehow doubt someone like you would see the difference..."
He made a graceful hop down from the rock where he sat and straightened his back proudly, clean and proper once more, giving the other a slightly superior look.
"Now, if you'll excuse me. I do believe the ladies await me."

"The only ladies here appreciate nature, and don't just observe it, You won't be finding any girl here who thinks the way you do about the dirt." The fox rolled onto his back. "You have to take a part in the nature to understand it, not just watch from behind a window of cleanliness."

Nymph frowned upon these words. Ladies not adoring him? Impossible!
"You are deeply mistaken! Ladies of all kinds fall flat for a gentleman of style who knows the melody of courtship. It's not a matter of being clean or not, but charm. If you were a ladies man, you'd understand. But clearly, you're not."
He gave the other a look from head to toes and back again, only to shake his head. This guy could clearly use some style.
"You're about as charming as a rock and stunning as a leaf... I pity you."
