Dean ran through the woods as fast as his tubby body could carry him, making odd exclamations every time his lab coat caught on a stray branch.
He was suddenly very grateful that Mr. Whorl had insisted on equipping the island with a ridiculously large fleet of vehicles, as he spotted yet another Wonder Park stamped SUV.

A monster soon attempted to waylay him.
Dean snarled - or tried to, it really sounded more like a startled whimper - and hit the gas.
With a gurgle, the SUV leapt forward, leaving it's attacker in the dust.
