Making sure her gun was set and ready to fire, Penelope decided to hoof it to the next location, having been told where it was located.
She was a little relieved to see that there was nothing around, but something told her to pick up the pace.
She started to jog, keeping a watchful eye on her surroundings.

There was still nothing going on, and Penelope began to get a little wary. It was unusual to not see anything, and her grip on her gun tightened.

She had known it was too good to be true. Leaping back as a birdlike woman flew at her, screeching, she dived as best she could for cover.

The redhead was still exhausted as she attempted to duck, instead being buffeted by the wings and claws of the harpy. She could feel the claws scrape past her cheek, and she let out a strangled noise as her hand pressed to the wound.
Penelope drew it away to find blood.

Every instinct of hers was screaming at her to fight, but Penelope also held in mind that she had people waiting on her.
Trying to break for cover again, she was buffeted once more and thrown back, the gun skittering away as she landed on her ********," She hissed, glaring daggers up at the harpy, wanting nothing more than to give her a taste of her own medicine.

Diving for her gun, Penelope grimaced as she forced her body up and running, darting behind a tree as she heard an audible thwack of the harpy hitting the object.
She let out a snort. At least it had prevented another attack from the damn thing.

She felt almost relieved that there was nothing around, and her pace slowed as she attempted to catch her breath. Again, it seemed too good to be true; as soon as she looked back, Penelope's eyes widened as she saw the very same harpy flying after her at what looked to be a breakneck speed.

"Son of a b***h." Penelope swore, snarling as she saw the harpy come back into sight. She didn't want to fight the thing, but apparently it hadn't been stunned enough because it was back for more.
"Haven't had enough of my blood yet?" She muttered under her breath, wincing as she felt more blood trickle down her cheek. She'd have to apply more polysporin soon...

Running had been a good plan. Once Penelope had seen the harpy coming, she booked it as fast as she could go, holstering her gun and making sure to dart and dodge around the trees and shrubbery.
It wasn't long before she lost her pursuer; she could hear the harpy's screams of anger a few yards away.
"Back at you, you old hag," She muttered, slowing her pace and finding that she was close to the location.
That could have been better, but at least she was still alive.
