Does the site Gaia's name come from the godesses name Gaea?
Cuz Gaea was mother Earth so Gaia would mean a new world sort of.
Does anybody know for sure?

I don't know for sure, but Gaea is sometimes spelt Gaia. So I think it would be safe to assume that Gaia is named what it is because of the relation to the Greek goddess, Gaea.

I always kind of assumed that there was a connection there, world online, Gaea being the goddess earth, I automatically connected something there. Ask the creator.
